Exit Point's passion for the music began in the early 90s, a fan of the Madchester sound of The Stone Roses & Happy Mondays, from here, his musical tastes shifted to the underground Rave sounds of the mid 90's after being introduced to a mixtape by a friend. This led to Exit becoming an avid listener of the local pirate stations, Mix FM, Fresh FM (Leicester) & Kool FM (Birmingham). This keenness further led Exit to take up DJ'ing, initially with a pair of Soundlab belt drives & a Numark mixer. Exit got into the Jungle sound in 1994 and would buy his vinyl from the legendary 5HQ shop in Leicester.

It all started back in 1990 with The Happy Mondays & Stone Roses. Rave was still underground & Illegal The sound was fresh. It all started when I listened to a mixtape a mate was listenin to he said have a listen to this. I soon started to search for pirate stations around my local area, MIX FM, FRESH FM (Leicester) & KOOL FM (Birmingham). Has I got more into the music I thought I would have a go at DJin so brought myself a pair of soundlab belt drives & a numark mixer & buy my vinyl from 5HQ. In 2009 I thought I would have a go at producin my own tracks. UNDER CONTRUCTION

more info coming soon more info coming soon I got my first taste of mixing back in 1988 using and old tape deck and a turntable with a pitch control. I used to tune in to the early pirate radio stations such as Pulse FM, Sunrise and Rush FM and try out mixing records over the top of what the DJ was playing, I was hooked straight away! I managed to get hold of 2 decks and a mixer and started practicing every night but It wasn’t until 1992 at the age of 14 that I got my first set of Technics and started playing hardcore and doing parties for friends. Since then my taste for electronic music has spanned across all genres of House from 1988 to Present and also Drum & Bass and Hardcore. The last few years I have been playing Funky House, Old Skool House, Electro House, and Techno and have developed my own unique style of mixing and first class selection of tunes. My DJing has seen me play at many clubs in Uk and abroad. Early on, round about 1993/4, I played at local venues in London and Kent such as The SE8 Club in Deptford, The Imperial Gardens in Camberwell and Langtrys in Beckenham. I soon secured my first residency with a night called Club Fiction at a club in Old Kent road. The night grew bigger quickly and moved to the Imperial Gardens. I found myself playing alongside the likes of Paul Gardner (Soulseekerz), Jon Pleased Wimmin, Lisa Lashes and Brandon Block. The Night is still going strong today after 10 years but is now called Kinky Malinky. In 1996 I went to Ibiza and I secured a residency at the Viper Bar in the west end for the season. I then got booked regularly to play House and Trance at Nightlife . I was also playing Old Skool sets at Simples Bar and Funky House at Kanya. I also did various guest slots at Play2 and the New Star bar. When I came back to England buzzing with the experience that Ibiza had given me I secured a residency for a well-established local night called Naughty at a club called Delano’s in Kent. This residency gave me the chance to really make a mould for myself locally by playing every week to a crowd who were up for some feel good Funky House tunes. My residency lasted for three years and I became a firm favourite of the club. Naughty took their night to Ibiza to the legendary Es Paradis and I was given the main set of the night 2-4am which was an unforgettable experience. Since then I have played at various Clubs on the London circuit such as Ministry of Sound, Pacha, The Rock (London), Motion, SW1, EC1 Club, The Voodoo Lounge, Club Colliseum, The Glasshouse, Flux, Saint Bar, etc, etc. I have recently joined Housefreaks Internet Radio station after a 2 year break from DJing due to the Birth of my Daughter and have proven to be popular with the listeners. I have also started producing a few tracks and I am planning on releasing them in 2009 so make sure you look out for any new info on the Site. Nick My first musical influences were Massive Attack, Frankie Knuckles, Sugar Bullet, Adam Ant, Primal Scream, Joey Beltram, Praga Khan, Prodigy, Cedric Winkleberger, Stakka, Isotonic, Altern8, Mantronix, Nightbird, Anticapella, Danny Tenaglia, Todd Terry, Acen, DJ Crystal, DJ Vibes, Nick Power, Colin Favour, Steve Jackson, Mark Moore, Boy George, Fabio & Grooverider, Brockie, Pulse FM, Rush FM, Sunrise FM, Eruption FM, Passion FM, Double Trouble, Heavy D, Rebel MC......
