He has not much in the bio except for the love of music. He is Cape Town born and bred in the disco era. A love of music has made it possible for him to grow into crossing the genre boudary. Although his love remains in the disco and soul genres, he expanded into many sub genres which now includes tech house, latin and afro house and even so much as melodic house and techno at times. Residing in the Netherlands for the past 14 years and fully adapted to a different culture and lifestyle and music genres. If anything can unite people it is MUSIC! As a matter fact anything with a beat is good for him. With your support he certainly will be posting much more music mixes now and in the future. I trust that you enjoy the sets and feel free to comment and follow. Ezzy

Hey everybody on the World Wide Web, Let me start by saying that I LOVE music (in almost every form/fashion/genre it comes in) . Music is my passion and I love the feeling I get when I see the people on the dance floor react to the tracks I'm playing for them just knowing that what I'm doin behind the decks is having a direct effect on everyone's good time (that's a truly addictive feeling). Now for a lil background history on me. I started out collecting records around 86-87 & I started DJn around 1991. I've been in a few DJ contests over the years & I have also pressed my 1st record on my own imprint PressYur Trax 2 Vinyl Records a few years back. In both my DJn & music production I do not like to limit myself to a certain style or genre, rather I try to see what's goin on in as many flavors/styles/genres of music that I can get in my ears & then with that musical knowledge I can incorporate certain aspects from each of them in new & exciting ways for my audiences. Now when people ask me what type of music I enjoy playing usually give them the list of genres I can hold it down in. Those include House, Breaks, DnB, Chillout/downtempo, Acid jazz, Disco, Techno & I also have a selection of Ol' skool hip hop, Experimental stuff and a few other surprises here and there. It has been thru this multi genre appreciation of music that I have been given the opportunities to be able to perform @ such functions as ambient gatherings w/both Andy Hughes and LX Patterson of the Orb, funky break parties w/Robbie and Gavin Hardkiss, Huda Hudia & Sweet Charlie, warehouse shindigs w/Brett Johnson, Boo Williams and Glenn Underground and DnB raves w/Dieselboy, AK1200, Squirt and most of the Jungle Sky crew. I am currently available for booking & I am always more than happy to perform for any size crowd, pretty much anywhere that an opportunity presents itself. So if any of you promoters, talent scouts, booking agents out there would like to inquire about securing me for a date in the future to join your line-up or events - Please send a private message to my profile page on facebook @ https://www.facebook.com/DJ-Jon-Wang-A-New-American-Hero-147574408639931/. Also, please include your name, e-mail, phone # & your company name, city where the event is taking place, name of the venue, # of rooms & the hours of operation for the venue, amount of the door charge, venue capacity, age limit allowed @ the venue (21+/18+/all ages), technical specs (type of turntables, mixer, ect.), other DJ's have you booked for the event, names of other DJ's not yet confirmed for this event, type(s) of promotion for the event (flyers, website e-vites, radio ads, ect.), the proposed time slot of my set & your offer for my services {in U.S. dollars} (or you may request for me to contact you allowing us to negotiate my fee) *[please note - the cost of flight, hotel & any other travel expenses will be covered by the promoter as a separate cost from the booking fee, Thank you]

Via my vast music collection and spinning to relay positive wellness vibes. New DJ moniker is "Dali'Rollah" which based on my wellness oriented mixing and sharing of music to help motivate folks and or just give positive changes of perspective while spaning various genres of music DJ'd by me and Rex Nexus was based on my vast music collection that also features the musicianship vibes of Shoegaze and Psyche-Rock. The other reason is I studied tons of surrealism art and Salvador Dali. I have been creating large scale paintings, illustrations and commercial graphic for ages. I was unable to re-clarify and or update my profile name change to Dali~Rollah here for some reason as later intended. Thats OK. Overall background wise, Well I have been with these sounds I roll since the Dawn.. My first interactions as an "Electronic" and or "Techno-esque" DJ first started with "Industrial" (Back in the day).. I found the illest off-beat downtempo beats there.. But I have to say this.. I am sorry to say, but I think Meat Beat Manifesto were was the first productions that introduced UK styled electronic BreaK-Beats with the first Reggae samples and or dread feel came with "Radio Babylon". All the same, that is where it all happened for me.. Breaks and or ill down tempos via Skinny Puppy, 808 State, Frontline Assembly, Greater Than One (Experimental as hell for those who know). 80 to 90s shrill-noise hip hop productions as well (Public Enemy / Big Daddy Kane / Ultra-magnetic MCs).. Sticking with industrial for the break-out hyped alternatice dace sounds but weaving and digging my musicianship mind during the early Manchester-Maddness (Stone Roses / Charlatans / Blur).. Then somewhere it all blended intrinsically via the 90s era of all eras.. Bought my first Belgian trance import on R&S and Decibel Records then dived into the Rave scene that hit proper stateside...Thanks to the New York production teams that brought the Storm Raves, Sputnik, Nasa and Essence..They were rolling all the sounds in order and running "Breakbeat" / UK hardore around midnight to launch off the high-speed maddness followed by hardcore then trance into house. Euromasters "Alles naar de Klote" borught back the "Industrial" for me . I heard some ill-sound breaks at some X-mas rave in a massive wherehouse in Hoboken NJ, thanks to Alan Sanctuary.. That was the first official "Jungle-esque" intro for me.. I pretty much lost my mind on that sound on that moment.. Me being of Jamaican Descent and hearing Jamaican "Rockers" samples with Reggae bass-lines - thats when the major intrinsic transcendence for me had occurred. Nasa touched down with DJ DB - the first official Jungle/Breakbeak DJ / Mr. Kleen and Jason Jinx. Then my first team to big up through via team "U-Buzz'n" full on Jungle thrown down in a where-house in Williamsburg. This was way before the Real-estate boom.. The ultra beginning of my long standing era DJs DB, Dara, Diesel Boy, *Nitty (the under rated roller), Delmar, Panik, & Cassien.. Featuring MC Posi-D. Way before he was MC'n and he was dancing some ill-out style all the time(Really).. I heard "Krome and Time's" - "License" & that dope "Drum and Bass-wise" track by Remarc? - So "Drum & Bass" at that time was branded on the throwdowns of heavy produced Ragga Jungle back then, atmospheric stuff was called Deep and hardstep was just that with cuts with obvious kick drum / stiff break leads.. Thats it... Listen to a mix to get where I have been with the sound up to now. New mixes will be posted in time.. No worries on me.. I represent Beat Syncopation Exploration. There is more than enough space for all of us of which all of our names remain engulfed. Big UP! ~ Dali'Rollah ~ "IRONCLAD" listening Sessions...
