Originating from sunny Bournemouth town and loving every second of dj life down on the UK South Coast is XJ. A passionate and meticulous dj whose pin point precision mixing, together with sensational tune selection has his crowds up and glued to the dance floor. XJ applies his sharp and seamless style predominantly to Drum & Bass, House, Trance and Hard Dance, but also enjoys the challenge of dabbling in other genres. XJ has had music running through his veins since birth and began getting more closely involved with music at the age of 13 when he picked up the mic and tried his hand at being an mc. After a few years on the mic XJ had the urge to mix and started messing around on a few of his friends decks. He then became a family man at an early age so XJ took some time out from the music scene and in 2005, he finally acquired his own setup. After a couple of years playing his vinyl at every chance he could get, XJ was ready to play out in his home town. He got involved with some local events and played at several Bournemouth hot spots including The Old Fire Station, Empire, Dusk till Dawn and DNA. When XJ attended university in 2010 he met a few like-minded dance music enthusiasts and together they launched their first drum and bass event Fracture in Bournemouth at the club Dusk Till Dawn. After the success of this event XJ’s passion and drive grew and the rest is history. His monthly residency at SoHo has become a regular hot spot for the local, house hungry bar hoppers. In 2017 XJ toured around Ibiza for his debut on the clubbing island, supporting the Parasol Ibiza Tour in association with Darkest Before Dawn Records. In 2018 he took his skills and sound to Ayia Napa as a resident DJ for Ayia Napa House Party hosted by House Party Events, along with house legend Junior Jack and 48 other national and international djs. In 2019 XJ returned to Ayia Napa with House Party Events alongside his fellow residents and up and coming djs Craig Knight, Franky Wah and Hot like Detroit. Next up in June 2019 will be XJs first festival slot, Home Farm Fest in Somerset, followed by his next summer booking at the largest festival in Wales: Logic Festival. The next step for XJ is production so watch this space! He has a passion in mixing, remixing, doing mashups and to create electronical music. It all started back in 1990 with The Happy Mondays & Stone Roses. Rave was still underground & Illegal The sound was fresh. It all started when I listened to a mixtape a mate was listenin to he said have a listen to this. I soon started to search for pirate stations around my local area, MIX FM, FRESH FM (Leicester) & KOOL FM (Birmingham). Has I got more into the music I thought I would have a go at DJin so brought myself a pair of soundlab belt drives & a numark mixer & buy my vinyl from 5HQ. In 2009 I thought I would have a go at producin my own tracks. UNDER CONTRUCTION

DJ, producer, remixer and sound engineer capable of using a variety of mediums for dj performance, such as vinyl, cd, Ableton live, Soratto and the more recently accuired skill Tractor using production software, Cubase, Reason, Ableton, Pro tools to name but a few. Currently performing with Dj Stu Angus as the C.L.U. Dj's playing minimal and tech house using Traktor S4. Recently the duo have released "Dark Matter', available on Beatport with the Duhkula remix. For the last 2 years C.L.U. Dj's have been invited to perform at the renowned "Solfest Festival" in North Cumbria. Up until recently Wakeem was the resident DJ in the back room of "Riff Raff" a bi-monthly night in Leeds, with "Solar" residents the Ashan Project - hard dance and techno rebels. Formerly a well established resident with the "Solar" parties, Wakeem sooon embraced the digital technologies in Djing, performing early evening live jams using his own original material. He has now become a regular Dj around his home town of Lancaster, playing regularly at nites such as, "Electroshox", "Acme Bass", "Solar", "Cheeky Business", "Subtractor", "Proper Records" and "Sourpuss" nights. Wakeem moved into the digital world of djing, performing on turntables, CD's and laptop from the now popular "Ableton" and "Traktor" with Dj and producer, "Stu Angus", whilst performing at a string of free parties and venue based events. It was after a return from gigs in Spain, the name Wakeem Coderro came about, using a Lancashire accent in the spanish translation of his birth name. Wakeem first met the Solar crew whilst frequently playing nights, events and free parties for the Lancaster based "Proper Records", spinning dubbed up tech house and techno under the guise of "Jay Ball", playing alongside Big G, Bent Copper, Joss Jinx, Jinx in Dub, Shut Up and Dance, The Ragga Twins. Whilst playing at Proper Records nights Wakeem visited Spain on several occasions to play at the renowned "Voodoo Moon" nights, with fellow Pleasure Rooms resident Neil Thorogood (now based in Australia), where they performed their legendary 8hour sets together until daylight the next morning.It was at the Pleasure Rooms in Leeds that the partnership with Neil Thorogood really came together heavily influencing each others styles and skills, proving to be a formidable team, playing alongside numerous top names, such as, Judge Jules, Sonique and Alistair Whitehead. Prior to teaming up with Neil, Wakeem played an active part in the North West Lancs underground scene, playing for and alongside the "Mayhem" crew from Bradford at their monthly nights at Planet Venus, the legendary "1 in 12" Bradford, "Dogruff" Inverness, "The Electric Green" in Kendal, "Citrus Club" and "Dance Your Sox Off" at Lancaster Suger House as duo "The Bully Brothers", "The Source Club" north west raves, "Eco Systems" Scottish partys, "Ignite" Bentham Town Hall "Fieldtrip", "Palgowan Festival" with "Acme Bass", "Stylus" of Lancaster, and of course the in-famous "Zicada" parties including the memorable "Milenium Bash" at Bentham Town Hall. It was during the Zicada days where Wakeem really learn't and developed his craft and artform, whilst assisting in the lavish productions of their many events.

About 16 years ago sasha b. was first introduced to electronic music by someone who until this day remains one of his closest friends. For his 19th birthday as a present, he received 10 records from his very good friend Peter. At this time terms like "1210" and "turntable" were unknown to him. Having only an old Dual record player he could at least play records, this gave him his first taste of electronic music. Back then he worked in a small club in Munich, this gave him the opportunity to play around with the turntables before the venue opened. Only 3 months later he got his first spot, playing warm up DJ every Sunday evening for "44 degree" at "Nachtwerk Club". By mid 1996, his raw talent gained him his first residency at "Electric Delicate" for more than 4 years, this being at the same venue. He also played at the "Union Move" in Munich. At this time he was known as "Brain X" playing alongside exciting DJs such as Toni Rios, Paul Cooper, Massimo and Marco Cannata amongst others. From 1995 until 2001 he was also seen spinning his discs, taking up residency in various after-hour parties in Munich. After this he took a break believing that electronic music was becoming stale and moving in the wrong direction. In 2002 it was once again his old friend Peter, who "pushed him" in musical terms, giving him a CD of DJ Sasha.. Since then sasha b. is into Tech/Prog-House and he got end of 2010 his own radio show "sorted!" on the web radio www.globalbeats.fm
