I started deejaying when I was 14 years old. I remember my brother buying Technics 101. Then after he the famous 12 hundreds. The turntable we're and still to this day one of the best turntables that the Technics have ever brought out. I started spinning vinyl at an early age. One of my first DJ competitions was a roller skating rink called, USA. I was a mobile DJ for many year and then I started getting gig's doing Holiday floats for the radio station Hot 97 FM in New York City. I think it that it was a huge success in my part. I then started deejaying in a lot of unknown Clubs. Then I started going a lot famous club back then. All I know is that the best way to listen new and upcoming music was to be surrounded in all types of Clubs. There was a club to be in everyday of the week. I met many successful D jays like, Little Louie Vega, Roger Sanchez, Freddy Turner etc. One day my cousin got a break in the Copacabana. His name is Jason Hernandez. We were always a Team. We spun there for a few years at world famous Copacabana (the original one). Then I worked in record co, Dig- IT International (Irma USA). Then I got married and played in a few more Clubs. Now i'm spinning in parties and I still get the crowd Jumping!

DjSika
DjSika

Born in Soweto, South Africa 15/05/84.DjSika is known for many talents to different people, Being an Architectural Designer by profession, A son to a single mother, A big brother to two siblings, A friend to many And A Dedicated Lover To House Music. His first exposure to entertaining audiences was playing for friends and family for Birthday parties, Braai's and Cultural celebrations. Not long after that, He started getting acquanted with other young dj friends he met along his journey. To date he has played at private parties that are too many to mention, restaurants/bars - ( Nino's Maponya Mall, Tavern Maponya Mall, Kasi Cafe). Some of the organised events that DjSika has played at, include "The Press Play Vinyl Sessions at Kasi Cafe", "Rythmic Movement Presents Funsion" where he played with artists like Infinite Boys, Da Capo, Blaq Soul, Beat Army, PhonoDeeps, Objektives just to name but a few.Not forgetting the launch of The First Annual New Castle Beach Party (Kzn.S.A), hosted by a very good friend and businessman Mr Phakade Khanyile.DjSika found himself associating with Internationally acclaimed Dj/Producers like Culoe De Song, Oskido, Dj Kent and Dj Sox. Enjoying backstage passes meant that he could rub shoulders and have meaningful conversations with world renowned vocalist Patrick L. Chappell (Im Your Friend).DjSika's love for house music overshadows other genres of music but as determined by circumstance, RnB, Jazz and Roots Reggae can also be found on his music player of choice.DjSika has always been known to be a flexible dj. This means that he can play most styles of house, i.e. Commercial, Local, Deep etc. He believes that there are a lot of factors that go into how he plays his sets. His Mood, the crowds mood, time at which he plays and the type of event he is playing at. All these are factors that he believes in and which guide him to make the choices he makes behind the decks.Because DjSika beleives that Djying is an art form, his intuition and his knowledge of reading a crowd always make him "A Cut Above The Rest".DjSika is very crowd driven. To see a crowd dancing, enjoying and appreciating the tunes he serves, Is what he gets behind the decks for.The history of Djying as an art form has always intrigued and motivated him to know more about the culture and the people that are within it, therefore he always strives to develop his skills but still remain true to the cause.DjSika started collecting vinyl records the best way he could but with the immerging reality of the dj scene going digital, He found it cnvenient and more accessible to go digital. With his experience as an "Old Skool" dj, coupled with his openess and ability to embrace new technology, DjSika is truely a force to be reckoned with as a dj that can comfortably open, warm up, peak and close any dj set.For Bookings And More Information On DjSika. .eMail - djsikazulu@gmail.comFaceBook - Ramsey DjSika ZuluTwitter - @DjSikaZuluMobile - +27(0)83 424 3612YouTube - http://www.youtube.com/user/RamseyDjSikaZuluAudio Mixes - http://www.house-mixes.com/profile/DjSikaLive Video Streaming - http://www.ustream.tv/channel/djsikazulu

Started DJing in 1987 with the all-time standard Technics 1200's along with a Numark mixer. I soon discovered the beauty of mixing on a rotary mixer (Urei 1620) a few years later. As the years past, I started trying and eventually moving through various rack mountable dual CD players and then CD turntables including Denon DN2000, DN9000, DN5000's, Technic DZ1200's, and of course CDJ-1000's. I switched from my Urei 1620 mixer to a Pioneer DJM-800 (and added the rotary kit). With regards to software, I started using Serato in 2007 but once I used Traktor I switched and haven't looked back.

Not to be confused with MC Fast Eddie (Edwin A Smith), Eddie Scott IS Chicago's ORIGINAL (DJ F@$t EdD!e) a nickname his uncle Nate Scott {deceased} gave him while he helped his uncle DJ a family BBQ on 76th Justine in Chicago. (IE) his uncle took a bathroom break & told Eddie to watch the tables, but Eddie was already 3 songs in. When he returned, Nate called 10 yr old Eddie "Fast OLD Eddie". But shorten it to Fast Eddie, now known as a an old school artist, DJ & musician since July 4,1978. After attending Chicago's famous Mendel H.S. (the bi level) in 1982, Corliss H.S. 1983-85, then finally Hillcrest H.S. in 1988 to obtain his GED, & finally Chicago State University for his 2 Bachelors degrees in Health Administration & Nursing. Eddie moved to East Chicago Heights try out his musical skills with others like him in the area. He ran into a skilled local DJ in the next building who wanted him to become one of the original members of a deejay group called "The Housemasters" (along with Rockin' Reggie (Harris), Corey (Rogers), Ellery (Cowles) followed by solo spots & playing drums for various bands. On April 7, 2011 he married his soulmate Deatrice Ivory. A very professional and popular Chicago DJ and musician who has been in the business SINCE July 4,1978, who's looking for a residency in a extremely popular club, either in Chicago, Las Vegas or Los Angeles. ATTN: No need to audition for it, my work speaks for itself. PEACE & LOVE....DJ F@$t EdD!e Scott :-)

Download "Get Up!" on iTunes:http://bit.ly/1ntX9Or From the opening notes of Carl Thornton’s debut single, "GET UP!" one hears the melodic drive and irresistible, electrifying, and pulsating beat that entices you to move with unabashed joy. Singer, songwriter, and actor Carl Thornton was born in North Carolina but at the tender age of three his parents moved to Long Island, New York where he was raised. Carl began singing at the age of seven in an elementary school chorus. While on stage of the very first performance he had an epiphany that singing was what he wanted to do with his life. Carl has been performing professionally for ten years. His talents have taken him to Austria, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Holland, Istanbul, Dubai, and Portugal. In 2012 he was contracted to tour and sing in China where he performed in Shanghai, Gangzhou, Fuzhou, and Hong Kong at the Starlight Dance Clubs. Carl is currently living in New York and singing with New York City Swing, which is taking him all over theEast Coast. One of Carl's favorite quotes is "nothing beats a failure but a try" -- words he lives by everyday. He takes musical inspiration from Pharrell Williams, John Legend, and Usher and idols Stevie Wonder and Peabo Bryson. “GET UP!” is available at iTunes, Amazon, and CDbaby.com. Four exclusive remixes will be released soon with an accompanying music video shot at Harlem Gay Pride Parade in June 2014 and will be released later this summer.
