The influences would come from Portuguese DJ's like Paulo Leite, Luis Leite, Mário Roque, Miguel Simoes, Rui Remix, in houses like Silver Gold, Palm Beach, Coconuts, Vaticano, News, 2001, Alcântara Mar and Benzina or even Kremlin. I am a true Old School Style DJ... Started DJing while attending South Gate High back in 1985. Back when KDAY was an AM radio station, and had TonyG as one of the their DJs. In fact it was after seeing TonyG DJing at La Casa Camino Real (off of Washington and Oak in Downtown LA) that I began to start DJing myself. Over the years I have mixed at several of the known clubs in Hollywood, Los Angeles, El Monte, Huntington Park, Long Beach, and several other cities within LA / Orange counties. Than for about 15 years I worked as a Freelance Lighting Audio, Video tech, and DJ as well, providing my DJing services in in the Special Events industry. Most of which were weddings, private parties, and corporate events. I mix both English and Spanish music with a music library of over 80,000 songs covering most genres of music from the most current hits of today and going back as far as the 50's & 60's. I recently moved to Reno, Nevada to be close to my parents who are getting up there in age, so I could spend quality time with them in their remaining years.

I have been DJ'ing since 1992. The origins of the DJ Name RavinSinn. The whole name is enigmatic. It started out as RavinSinsinnati Baby, an anogramming my initials. I dropped sinnati Baby due to length. Ravin was chosen because of the raves, the passion, and my obssesion with Edgar Allen Poe. Sinn was chosen because of my Irish heritage and the fact that the political group is for the common man and yes, Sin! We are all sinners to some degree. SO rejoice unto the Lord. Lift up your hearts with song and dance. Ravin [ˈreɪvɪŋ] 1. Talking or behaving irrationally; wild: a raving maniac. 2. Exciting admiration: a raving beauty. n. Delirious, irrational speech.
