I started the clubs scene during the 1980s and I was influenced by soul- disco, the freewheeling Jaz funk scene, emerging house, hip-hop styles and Latin . I went to my very first Southport weekender in the early 90's and then I became hooked with the house scene and I bought my first decks and started to play sets in the underground clubs and parties. I was a Part of largest pirate radio station in yorkshire sharing my passion for Funk soul- US Garage & soulful house. Thats history and this is now... ATTENTION! Please be aware I no longer post mixes on house-mixes. If you have happened to have recently discovered me or listened to me before, you can find me still posting mixes on soundcloud & mixcloud. Been spinning since 88 and after a 10yr absence I returned a few years back to start mixing again. Before my "retirement", I played at a number of clubs and had residencies at the "infamous" Legends in Old Burlington St and at the Emporium in Soho. I currently mix for fun, but if the right opportunity presented itself Imight be interested in playing out again. My style of mixing is (I like to think) smooth, Itry to take the listener on a rhythmical adventure / journey. I particularly enjoy creating something between the mixes (when possible!) rather than simply going from deck to deck, so if you find yourself; a) loving the tunes, b) having an irresistable urge to dance and c) then realise you haven`t got a clue which tune you`re listening to, then I`m doing my job. My musical style usually falls into 3 categories; deep,soulful or nu disco but always funky. Would love to hear your comments on my mixes, don`t be shy. I am aware I don`t listen to enough mixes and am trying to make more time for this. HOWEVER, when I do listen to a mix, I will provide an HONEST, THOUGHTFUL appraisal and whenrequested will offer constructive advice. Ido not"COPY & PASTE" feedback. I appreciate what DJ`s can put into a mix and the least I can do is take time to offer feedback befitting the quality of themix. House Is Life and i am addicted Been collecting music for 36 years and very proud of my vinyl collection from the 80's/90's. In my opinion the 80's was the best time for music and left me inspired by the great musicians and artists who left a legacy behind and music is still influenced by those heroes. Not afraid to experiment with sounds and always searching the globe for something a little different, and if recent releases don't cater for my needs, then there is always the archives. My Listening Genre's - House, Soulful House, Deep House, Afro House, Jazz House, Latin House, Tribal House, Lounge, Nu-Jazz, Soul, RNB, D&B, Garage, 2 Step. Music has always been my pastime and enjoyed the occasional gigs and live sets, but never really took my passion to the next level. Life is kinda hectic and faded out of the scene for a considerable time but now back to basics doing what i enjoy, pretty serious about my music and hope that i can spread some joy along the way...love peace and prosperity to all. I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music. I was born in 1963 in Liege ( Belgium ) and i djing since 1979. I organized different party's with friends and we had a lot of fun. In 1980 i had my chance to play in clubs and i started to mix like crasy my favorite music FUNK ( Melba Moore, Evelyn King , Glen Jones , D-Train , Zapp , Cameo , Brass construction , Earth Wind and Fire , Kashif , Michael Jackson , Oliver Cheateam , One Way , Sos Band , Mtume , George Benson , Luther Vandross , Reddings, Lakeside , Pleasure, Whispers , Kurtis Blow , Sugarill Gang , James Brown and the JB's ...and many others ) ; I have about 6000 records , they are like gold to me. In 1985 , i moved in The Netherlands to play in a club called The Dj Inn in Maastricht and i had a great time and lots of friends. I felt so good there that i refused to play in Spain , Paris , Italy and U.S.A In 1991 i decided to stop to play in clubs because it was for me a bad musical time. I still played at special disco funk events and in my garage , you have to know that i stand op with music and i go sleep with music... and my wife... I restarted in 2001 with a dutch disco group , we used to play everywhere in The Netherlands. Now i enjoy a lot to mix again. I like to play different music , jazz funk ( Rachelle Ferrel , Marcus Miller , Bob James , Anita Baker , Shante Moore , Groover Washington ) ; Since 2 years i used to mix soulful house witch is for me actually the best dance music... ( Groove Junkies , Kenny Bobien , Cece Rogers , Michelle Weeks , Barbara Tucker , Kathy Brown , Candy Williams , Miguel Migs , Indigo ... and many others ). I am so exited with my 45 years to play everywhere. Paris, London , Brussels , Amsterdam , Maastricht , Koln , Milano , Barcelona and Ibiza... I still have many years to play , a lot of place to go, a lot of friends to do... Goya MusicMan, a passionate DJ, started his music journey in 1999 at just 16 years old. What began as a hobby turned into a career spanning over two decades. By 2008, he was already performing as a semi-professional DJ. He built his reputation playing at clubs like Platinum Lounge (2008-2009), Café del Khuze (2010-2012), and Dukes Grill Lounge (2011-2015). From 2016 to 2019, he became a freelancer, touring with King Maestro in various cities across South Africa. Between 2019 and 2021, he took a break from club gigs to study political science but continued making mixtapes for his podcast, The Goya MusicMan Show. In 2022, he helped create music event concepts for The Sauce Lifestyle Café in Polokwane, including the successful PLK Plastic Affair, which ran until 2024 and featured international DJs. In 2022, he was hired by Seventh House Ltd. to produce a jazz mix for Eddie Harris. Today, he runs Goya Music SA, an aspiring record label, and continues to DJ, create mixtapes, and train as a music producer under Victor Duba at Lepatata Records. His journey is all about passion, growth, and pushing boundaries in music.

M'DeaFenix started her music career in the summer of 1999 under the name of Maxxy. She stood behind the decks for the first time in a club in Budapest, right after graduation. Her music genres: Deep, Soulful, Tech and Funky House. In 2001, she played multiple times as the favourite resident in local clubs and discos like the Capella, Medusa and under the college years, in the old Highlife disco. Later her music career attracted her to foreign holiday resorts, among other things, in the summer of 2003 she was invited to one of the most popular and prestigious club: Pacha Ibiza. She released her first progressive tech-house single “Degree 2003” in this year. Afterwards, she worked together abroad with Eddy G, Kevin Yozt and Soul Avantgarde. From 2005 to 2007 she played excusively in beach clubs, including the following countries: Greece, Spain, Australia (Geelong), Bulgaria, Italy and in the capital of her motherland Ukraine, Kiev In January 2008, she returned to Hungary for a little relaxation and opened her own beauty salon on the occassion of her 27th birthday, in the spring of 2008. She was invited several times to foreign clubs during this time as well. Due to the amount of appearances, she had to quit the business that she owned, in the spring of 2009. From the summer of 2009, she started to become her own music producer and released her deput track “Star in over”, under the label of her acquaintance.
