I was a DJ from 1973 until the early 80s, they were small private clubs, mixers without pre-listening and Thorens belt-driven turntables... Disco-prehistory.I recently found some stereo 4 music tapes of my own and other friends' evenings which I will convert to digital. I have the recording year of some or brief note, in others there are no notes but I only know that it is beautiful music from the past. Long live dance, house, funky and similar genres ! I apologize for the beginning and end of the mixes which are with abrupt fade or some minor volume distortion: are live sets recorded at the club. Happy listening :-)

I've been mixing since 1973, and for 10 years I've had all the first pressings of Classics Dance vinyl in my hands. Now I only play digitally, always up to date on Soulful House.
