Addicted to music since the age of 15, listening to it, playing it, and enjoying it to the fullest! I took my first steps in the world of free radio with music styles such as New Wave, New Beat, and later more danceable styles such as Garage, Disco, Soul, and Funk. My music style produced the necessary decibels through many speakers in living rooms, organized parties, and discotheques/clubs. Been a Disc Jockey for close to 40 years. I worked clubs in NY/Long Island & Florida working some of the best clubs during their times. If you're familiar with Long Island, back in the late 70's and early 80's I worked every OBI which their were 3 of them. The one in Hamptons was outrageous during the summers as it was the place to be. Spinning in front of 1500 to 2000 people every Friday & Saturday night was a blast. Sunday afternoons was mind blowing.By time the mid to late 80's came around my favorite genre was Latin Freestyle. The music was smoking hot!! I had a 4 year run at this club in Bayshore called Club Paradise from 1985-1989. One thing about latino's they know how to party!!!. I had every track act in this club which only had a 600 capacity. To date it was by far the best club I ever worked. Hanging out with the likes of Stevie B, The Cover Girls, TKA, George Lamond Judy Torres & my favorite female freestyle artist, Cynthia was a trip. The music was real. The crowds partied real hard & to this day I still enjoy the music. Every now & then I pull out the autographed pictures from all the artists that I broke in this club and I smile thinking about the memories. I hung up the headphones a few years back & only break them out to do a classic disco or freestyle night. I also appreciate real good house music with piano grooves and riffs.

I was born 49 years ago and have been close to music since childhood. As a young man, I decided I wanted to become a DJ. **My professional start** came in 1993. That’s when I fully committed to mixing and creating music for discos and club events. My distinctive style and energetic performances quickly won me popularity, and I gradually became a familiar face in the local club circuit. **During my career**, I had the amazing opportunity to travel and perform on various stages. These experiences enriched me immensely, not just musically but also as a person. I learned to feel the crowd’s energy, and my mixing skills became my trademark, propelling me to the top of the local DJ scene. **After years spent in the prime of my career**, I felt in 2008 that it was time for a change. I decided to end my active DJ career and devote myself to other interests and responsibilities. Though I no longer play at major events today, my passion for music and mixing still burns within me. **I’m still part of** our local music community, and I’m proud of what I’ve achieved for DJ culture. Exit Point's passion for the music began in the early 90s, a fan of the Madchester sound of The Stone Roses & Happy Mondays, from here, his musical tastes shifted to the underground Rave sounds of the mid 90's after being introduced to a mixtape by a friend. This led to Exit becoming an avid listener of the local pirate stations, Mix FM, Fresh FM (Leicester) & Kool FM (Birmingham).This keenness further led Exit to take up DJ'ing, initially with a pair of Soundlab belt drives & a Numark mixer. Exit got into the Jungle sound in 1994 and would buy his vinyl from the legendary 5HQ shop in Leicester.
