Techno is part of my life. For more than 20 years, I’ve been talking through music — trying to speak with harmony, darkness, and deep emotions. If I play, it’s because I feel. I love to create and let my soul flow with the atmosphere of the music — Techno music. Right now, my sound is evolving, taking a new direction that I’m truly enjoying. By using stems, I create moments where you're not sure if you're here, now… or 20 years ago. What styles do I mix? Techno. In the beginning, all we had was Techno. Fascinated by electronic music as young as he can recall, Dj Manu B started mixing at the age of 14 in a club in France. He seizes this opportunity to introduce this music to his captive audience, and especially techno music that had just appeared in France. Thanks to his pure and unique touch, event organizers rapidly notice him and he takes on techno and free parties. With a partner, he opens, at the age of 20, one of the first techno and electro vinyl shop in the region of Rhone Alpes and sells them to many clubs specialized in electronic music as well as a large number of international DJs… A couple of months later, he mixes with the famous French electronic music pioneer sir Laurent Garnier. Follows many parties all over France, to Switzerland, Belgium and even Denmark, Sweden and England where he pays in numerous festivals with the most famous DJs such as Jeff Mills, Carl Cox , Ken Ishi , Robert Armani , Paul Johnson , Derrick Carter , Alex K , Manu Le Malin, Jack De Marseille , Cj Bolland , John Aquaviva , Eric Rug , Philippe Zdar , Phunky Data, Ralph , Kiko , Laurent Ho , Laurent Wolf , 100% Isis , Claude Monnet , Joey Beltram , Kenny Larkin , John Thomas , Zzino , Crystal Distorsion, 69 Db... in 1990 after a travel i discover the techno music i bought his first K7 like :The Orb/razor edge 'import compilation'/808 state/LFO/Praga Khan/Two little boy/megabas/sl2/ & Many more acid beat,break,trance ..... it was a ravelation* for me and goes to big Party in Clubs like Le Rex -Le Palace – KitKat Privilege -le Néo-le Gibus-Rave party. etc…. In 1992 i started to mix with too k7 player and mixer for friend’s parties and started to be fan of the label Harthouse/Noom/EyeQ/Tip/DragonFLy/flying rhino/Platipus*Rising High*/(Fairway-Automate-Javelin)/Omnisonus/return to the source (acid trance-trancecore…)etcetc.... till this year he passed by different styles like: Techno,Techno-Ambient,Ambient* Hardcore,Tech, Trance ,Goa,Progressive house & melodic Techno... a big Thank to Guillaume la tortue , Jean Marie Koné , Olivier Planeix pour leurs superbes compilations et mix , scan X , Dj Sonic,L'exorciste aka chaotik ramses , Radio Mentale & FG*+Nova , Mazen "Techno Import" , Speedy J , Liza N'eliaz , Laurent Ho , The Orb , Fluke , underworld , Prodigy......& many many more for your neurophonic trip sharing. I do not claim in any case to be a pro dj or equivalent, I do this out of pure passion for the electro sound. I try to share and make you feel the emotion and the force that escapes from these styles of music that made me what I am. I focus on doing it the same way as some mixer compilations in the 90s.
