Metro Beatz is a South Florida based DJ/Producer/Remixer/Engineer of House/Electronic, R&B & Hip Hop Music for Music Of Class Productions and MOCRadio Network. Metro Beatz also known as 'LC' orginally from Lawrence, Ma has a long history & career in music since the mid 80s starting with his first rap group 'The Fresh Express - Stop (Before You Get Started)' which was a local hit in Greensboro, NC then scored an underground rap hit in 1990 with his group 'Mind Over Matter - Invisible Enemy' Soon after, Metro Beatz would move to Atlanta in 1990 working with several upcoming R&B & Hip artist, working at records stores, spinning at clubs in Atlanta and spinning mixtapes eventually collaborating with Chris Brann from Wamdue Kids, he caught the bug for House music, relocated to South Florida spinning on Miami's number one station Hot 105, spinning celebrity parties and released his first solo House music project on Terrence Parker's 'Parker MusicWorks Label' in 2008. Currently Metro Beatz now releases fresh new House Music on his own imprint 'Music Of Class' through Symphonic Distribution. I have two Dennon HS5500 which is like having 4 turntables since you can play 2 tracks from the same player along with a DJM-600-K PIONEER MIXER. aahhh You don't want to know!!!! but mostly my own home made mixes specially done for the party I do. I like to do a "show" of what people have requested ahead of time so I like to make a mix or two with extra effects and get rid of all the boring intros and outros that sometimes seem they go forever. I am a paralegal in the day time. I have been working there for 16 years and I ;also do hair in the evenings. I ;love cutting hair and doing "Glamour" make up. ; Also, I ;dj on the weekends mainly for "fundraiser". I ;like to help people that are suffering from Alzheimers since my dad was just diagnosed with it, I also do it for people with Cancer and Aids by donating my time and money. My dad was a musician all his life so I have the music in me but as I was growing up I loved to hear really high energy disco, and then tribal, techno, rave but I now enjoy the diva house music with a touch of tribal touch.
