baiodeejay was born in Milan in 1970; grew artistically between dark music and anglo-saxon psychedelia, finds his musical identification in the panorama techno and trance tied to the Detroit scene of the 90's (Damon Wild, Mix Master Morris, Ritchie Hawtin, Orlando Voorn, Jeff Mills, Tim Xavier etc). In the 2000s the his love for the new electronics and a growing interest in house music artistically they will direct him toward the minimal - house and electro mainly linked to Berlin's German scene; musical style influenced by artists like Kraftuerk, Pink Floyd, Brian Eno etc. Matured in the Milan underground scene; today is the owner of an independent record label, called Habitat Recordings L.T.D, founded in the late '90s as well as DJ of some milanese and european clubs where also performs with his crew. Jono took to the decks in the early 2000's in Germany, staging private and underground events around Darmstadt & Frankfurt, playing mostly "Psy Trance" or the occasional "Tech House" session. On returning to Ireland in 2007, relocating and updating his home studio, integrating digital and vinyl. Techno then became Jono's main passion and developed many different styles and genres of Techno, including ”Deep, Dark & "Minimal Techno". Jono has made appearances on many local & national sound systems and radio stations including “Radio Climax” (Ireland) "Beat 102 103 FM (Ireland)", "Fnoob Techno Radio" (UK), In March 2016 Jono took to the airwaves on “Fnoob Techno Radio” as a resident with a monthly 2 hour show, “Re-activ.” Since early 2015 Jono has delved into producing and is currently working on his 1st album. Jono has also organised, played, and contributed to many charity events, such as the "Irish Heart Foundation" and "Cancer Research" .
