HI MY NAME IS DJ BREAK HERES A BRIEF EXPLANATION OF MY CAREER AND MY PREFERENCES SO FAR PLEASE TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO READ MY PROFILE :) I LOVE MIXING..OLDSKOOL CLASSICS N ANTHEMS 88-95 ISH..DRUM N BASS/JUNGLE/BREAKS/FUNKY HOUSE/ELECTRO/HIP HOP/RNB/RAGGA/DUBSTEP/JUNGLE TECHNO/JACKING HOUSE AND ANYTHING I CAN SCRATCH OVER...( AKA THE STICKY FINGAAA) I GOT MY 1ST SET OF DECKS WHEN I WAS 15 YRS OLD BACK IN 1990 IT WAS AT THIS POINT DURING MY EARLY CAREER THAT I STARTED OFF WITH HIP HOP (STREET SOUNDS) I THEN STARTED BUYING OLDSKOOL HOUSE AND PIANO CLASSICS VYNLS (MY 1ST RECORD WAS DOUG E FRESH THE SHOW ON 7" HAHA) I WAS GOIN TO THE HACIENDA, HIPPOS, BOWLERS ETC AND I WAS INSPIRED AND INFLUENCED BY THE BIG ANTHEMS IN THOSE CLUBS. I FOLLOWED ON THEN TO SECURE MY RESIDENCY FROM 1996 TO 2002 AT BOWLERS (MANCHESTER) LIFE/ASYLUM/COMPULSION I'VE PLAYED AT VARIOUS EVENTS UP AND DOWN THE COUNTRY OVER THE YEARS I DECIDED TO TAKE A SHORT BRAKE (2002- 2005) BUT I'VE BEEN BACK EVER SINCE PLAYING AT VARIOUS EVENTS AND RADIO STATIONS. It all started back in 1990 with The Happy Mondays & Stone Roses. Rave was still underground & Illegal The sound was fresh. It all started when I listened to a mixtape a mate was listenin to he said have a listen to this. I soon started to search for pirate stations around my local area, MIX FM, FRESH FM (Leicester) & KOOL FM (Birmingham). Has I got more into the music I thought I would have a go at DJin so brought myself a pair of soundlab belt drives & a numark mixer & buy my vinyl from 5HQ. In 2009 I thought I would have a go at producin my own tracks. UNDER CONTRUCTION

Been a DJ since 96, Played on various Prate radio Stations and London Clubs. Started Mixing oldskool House & Garage but have mixed upfront drum and bass & Liquid drum and bass in the 2000's. My heart will aways be with my oldskool house and garage though. I could never part with my collection in fact, they will be buried with me! 😁😁 I currently play Minimal, Tech, Deep, Tribal and soulful House, Amapiano, Liquid Drum & Bass as well as Old Skool House and Garage, mainly from about 1991-1998 alternatively on ChoicefmUK each and every Wednesday from 8pm-10pm (UK time) 🔈🔉🔊🎵🎶🎶🎤🎧 Apart from my family, Music Is the key to my life. I'm new to the site and am still learning the ropes! I am an author of Horror, Science Fiction, and Fantasy and am currently work on Book II of The Spectrum Trilogy. I grew up telling spooky little campfire style stories at slumber parties. We’d make a tent in the bedroom, and the only source of light would be from a flashlight that was about to die. I’d tell my tale of doom and then while everyone was jumping at the tree branch scraping against the window and I’d be sound asleep! While deployed at various ports-of-call throughout Africa, Asia and the Middle East I began to learn about other cultures’ monsters and nightmares and I use my world travels and experiences take you to some of the exotic places that I’ve been but have altered and embellished with my twisted view of how a story should end…while at the same time taking you on a journey you might not otherwise be able to afford or brave enough to undertake. The type of music I listen to while I’m writing is goa/psy trance, deep tribal house, or dark drum and bass so when I found this site it was like hitting the jackpot. Now every night I log on around 11pm and as the soundtrack of my imagination pours from the speakers I write until 3 or 4 in the morning.
