Through my piano lessions in Music school and singing at many choirs I made my first steps into the world of music and since then is my everyday companion. Year by year I was exploring different genres from classics, 70's, 80's and 90's Rock, Pop, Dance. In my 20's I instantly fall in love in electronic music genres and become totally addicted torhythm ofHouse and Trance. :) I am more or less still a newbie in role of a DJ so more of my sets/mixes/masups are yet to come and each of them will have it's story behind... :) To all my listeners and followers a big thank for all your comments and support. All beguan with acid music, I was 14 years old when I first listened to those joly great sounds. Than arrived EBM (Electronic body music) actually, I was born in the North of France closed to the Belgium border where EBM exploded. Later, Fond of progressives sounds I was always looking for after parties to enjoy the melodic grooves of such club like Balmoral, la bush (sunday morning with DJ GEORGES). Now, I try to do my best mixing in order to show my feelings with this marvellous music : Progressive.

Levin Scheips born 1985 is a german artist based in bielefeld, north rine-westphalia. He started his career as a dj and producer early 2008 and in the begining he merely recorded some podcasts for his private audience like just everyone. Addicted to music making, meeting and learning from a lot of good producers he has grown in what he’s doing till today. On stage Levin has found his own unique style to perform live with a bunch of midi controllers in combination with a classic dj act. The sound he plays is depending on the event but mostly in a kind of deep and driving techno that comes with a intense energy. Peaktime music! On the other hand in his studio levin is further more used to produce calm and melodical tunes. The releases and podcasts he builds are much more atmospheric, frisky and progressive. His Remix of „Pleasures“ from Max Cooper & BRAIDS or „Creatures“ from Ryan Davis & Applescal are two decent examples for this musical fashion. Nowadays Levin is a well known electronic music artist and a resident dj of the famous „Freunde der guten Musik“ & „Tiefklang“ events. - Dehydr8ed represents a unique style of electronic music creation and manipulation. Jason Randall and I (Niko Benetos) met in 2011 here on House-mixes.com. Since then we have become very close friends. We are both focused on pushing the limits of music manipulation and mixing in different ways. I have been using Ableton Live for 9 years now. I Strip down tracks to samples, then arrange them with parts of others and my own synth, basslines percussion and effects to create a unique dance music experience. There are no limits as to what can be done. Most of my sets use about 20 channels and could take 50 to 100 hours to complete. Jason Randall is simply put the best DJ on the planet. He is using upto 6 decks along with samplers and effects units and although he is the King of dark pounding techno he can throw down in any style and make the most seasoned of DJs seem amateur. Don't waste your time reading this, just press play on the sets to see for yourself. I would Like to thank everybody for all the excellent comments and downloads. This is a great place to catch new artists and DJs and the music fans on this site are the best in the world. The comments and feedback I recieve here really drive me to put out the nastiest electronic dance music sets i possibly can. Thank you all!!
