Kioko built his first rig at 15 out of left over school roofing supplies for speakers and a borrowed valve amp from an uncle on the Tottenham Court Rd, bought some decks and the rest is history. The collection is flavoured with influences from hip-hop, house, reggae, salsoul, breakbeat and south african house. House Is Life and i am addicted Been collecting music for 36 years and very proud of my vinyl collection from the 80's/90's. In my opinion the 80's was the best time for music and left me inspired by the great musicians and artists who left a legacy behind and music is still influenced by those heroes. Not afraid to experiment with sounds and always searching the globe for something a little different, and if recent releases don't cater for my needs, then there is always the archives. My Listening Genre's - House, Soulful House, Deep House, Afro House, Jazz House, Latin House, Tribal House, Lounge, Nu-Jazz, Soul, RNB, D&B, Garage, 2 Step. Music has always been my pastime and enjoyed the occasional gigs and live sets, but never really took my passion to the next level. Life is kinda hectic and faded out of the scene for a considerable time but now back to basics doing what i enjoy, pretty serious about my music and hope that i can spread some joy along the way...love peace and prosperity to all. I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music. Dear Friends of Music Since I can go, I have been interested in music. I could never save money during my apprenticeship, because I spent everything on new LPs and musicarrangements. Meanwhile a music studio had become from my room, later even a really professional mix studio. Till this day I observe the music scene daily. Little does more joy than good sound to me. In the meantime, I have mixed more than 40000 sound carriers as well as some sampler. Of course you are able to pre-listen on my homepage my newest CDs. However, you can still discover even more.In the 90s I have often worked also as a DJ. I put on in events, in clubs, in radio stations and in roller skate discos. Jokke Ilsøe started as an electric bassplayer in 1979, working and performing with various bands like The Overlords, URD, Dog Patrol, City Kids, etc. In 1998 he was a member of the Trigbag dj pack with Trentemøller and T.O.M von Rosen (Lulu Rouge). Jokke has been djing for some 30 years and producing for over 15 years. He's produced in many projects such as Rainbow Bakery with Trentemøller, True to Nature with T.O.M von Rosen, Love Boat with Renata(BEEFrec), Emok & Jokke(iboga), Bujok with Buda T, Parham & Jokke Ilsøe (Vapour), etc.

2 X Technics SL-DZ 1200, 1 X Vextax PMC-580 Pro, 1 X Sony MDRV500 Loads! I began my foray into DJ'ing in 1998 while I was at college in Tralee in Ireland. Starting out in the college radio I quickly began skipping lectures in favour of playing a set when someone else was away or more educationally oriented. 2 years later and my formal education became old news in favour of running nights in and around Cork and Kerry in the south west of Ireland. Things were going well as I continued to push myself and my abilities, securing gigs up and down the country and playing alongside some of the scene's bigger names including Mr. Spring and DJ Ted. Regular appearances on 2 FM started to build up and I launched the (now defunkt) Irish DJ Alliance. I next moved to the UK for about 18 months until 2004 when I moved here to Australia. Upon arriving here my drive jumped up a notch or 2, with a blank canvas and a clear mind on what I wanted to do for a living I set my sights firmly on making a go of this DJing lark. Within the first 12 months I had run my own night "soda" with cohort Jim Naylor, secured a weekly residency at The Beach House and had my first full length mix aired on national radio. Not content to settle for that I took the decision to invest some time and effort into developing this website with a view to building a network of like minded people and creating a resource pool that would help me further my knowledge and give me a solid base to put my sounds out there. Now in 2009 the future is looking bright, with 3 production releases under my belt and 2 more slots on national radio the passion is well and truly still alive. 2009 has seen me begin a serious focus on my production and with my first major release "Fireflies" out of the way I'm continuing to move heavily into that area as well as promoting a night called "Tonic" as an effort to extend my skills in that area and fund my production.
