- Dehydr8ed represents a unique style of electronic music creation and manipulation. Jason Randall and I (Niko Benetos) met in 2011 here on House-mixes.com. Since then we have become very close friends. We are both focused on pushing the limits of music manipulation and mixing in different ways. I have been using Ableton Live for 9 years now. I Strip down tracks to samples, then arrange them with parts of others and my own synth, basslines percussion and effects to create a unique dance music experience. There are no limits as to what can be done. Most of my sets use about 20 channels and could take 50 to 100 hours to complete. Jason Randall is simply put the best DJ on the planet. He is using upto 6 decks along with samplers and effects units and although he is the King of dark pounding techno he can throw down in any style and make the most seasoned of DJs seem amateur. Don't waste your time reading this, just press play on the sets to see for yourself. I would Like to thank everybody for all the excellent comments and downloads. This is a great place to catch new artists and DJs and the music fans on this site are the best in the world. The comments and feedback I recieve here really drive me to put out the nastiest electronic dance music sets i possibly can. Thank you all!!

AS MY FATHER USED TO BE A DRUMMER ! I DISCOVERED MY LOVE TO THE MUSIC IN MY URLY AGES. WITH 12 YEARS I STARTED TO DO MI FIRST MIX TAPES'S AND 2 YEAR LATER I DID SPIN MY FIRST TIME IN A LOCAL CLUB IN OUR VILLAGE BECAUSE OF MY JOB I HAD TO STEP BACK WITH THE MUSIC .... FIEW YEARS LATER I RESTARTED WITH DJ'ING AND DID BUILD UP MY OWN HOME STUDIO. FROM TIME TO TIME I USED TO PLAY IN SOME LOCAL CLUBS ARROUND ZÜRICH, BUT I NEVER DID IT PROFESSIONAL, IT WAS ALWAYS A HOBBY AND LOVE TO THE MUSIC FOR ME. 2 YEARS AGO I COMPLETLY RESTARTED WITH THE MUSIC AND KEEP PUSHING IT IN ALL WAYS AND DIRECTIONS .....

A total music enthusiast since the mid 80's, I've flirted with hip-hop, funk, jazz, world music & all forms of IDM, but I'm particularly fond of house and liquid drum & bass. You will find here many different interpretations of these genres, usually with a soulful, jazzy & chilled vibe. Having been around for over 2 decades,. Starting his career as a Pirate Radio dj in the mid 80's my style evolved with the various musical genres Dub, Rare Groove, Hip Hop, Disco to early House and Drum and Bass. I remember back in the days when raves were promoted primarily by flyers printed on actual paper and distributed to record shops that had bricks-and mortar storefronts lol you could go and visit that a DJ profile used to just mean someone name and their affiliations to rave collective and, later to record labels. Sure, those DJs that were big enough to have an agent probably already had a paragraph or two about them written down somewhere, but they circulated in a smaller, closed circuit of professionals I am very passionate about sharing with the audience what i think are the greatest records of the moment or what i think are timeless classics.To me, music is a universal language. It so diverse and speaks to every person differently. The way it's presented to the audience is just as important as the actual music".
