Being part of a very large & musically diverse Family, I was lucky enough to be exposed to and enthused by many era’s of great Music from as early as the 1950’s and across a wide range of different styles, from Motown, Rockabilly, Jazz & Soul through to Punk, Ska, Heavy Metal, Rock and especially Hip Hop & Dance Music. Being born in 1978 I was fortunate to see the start of what we now call Dance Music, from the 80’s era onwards, such as House, Speed Garage, early Rave, Happy Hardcore, Drum n Bass, Jungle and Techno. It was in this beginning phase of Dance Music that I became even more engrossed in the Scene, especially with House Music, Rave, Techno & Speed Garage. From that early exposure i started clubbing in places such as Cream, Uropa, Ark, Ministry of Sound, Sankey’s, Pleasure Rooms and the Legendary Gallery in Leeds. Here i soon became aware of Djing, although I remained a clubber for many more Years before I ever considered trying it out myself. Eventually, after seeing some of the greatest DJs & Musician’s in the World perform, such as Tony De Vit, Prodigy, DJ Sy, Rob Tissera, Carl Cox, Steve Luigi, Altern-8, Jeremy Healey, Sasha & Digweed and many more besides, I finally decided to try my hand at Djing and bought my first set of Turntables, some belt-driven Soundlab DLP 1600’s and a cheap Synergy T1000 Mixer then started to play around with music and began building my own Vinyl & CD collection It wasn’t until I invested in a pair of Technics SL1210 mk2’s back in 2008 that I truly began to learn the Art of Djing and also began frequenting Hard House Events at some of the best Night’s in the early to mid 2000’s, Housewives Choice, Sundissential, Glasshouse, GoodGreef & Savaged to name a few of my all-time favourites. Later in 2008, I started up my own Night “Back2Bounce” helped by some of my good friends and great DJs, Martin C, Tony H, Mad Will, Mosswah, Joe Longbottom and James Clark, catering for like-minded clubbers & DJs alike with the Music Policy being one of Uplifting & Bouncy Hard House. During that period I was lucky enough to be asked to play at several Savaged Events, including one Xmas Special alongside one of my favourite DJ/Producer’s, the mighty Ilogik and was also hired for a few private parties here and there. Along with all this, I began venturing into Online Djing thanks to a good friend of mine Matthew Ridings, who I helped set up WkdBeats Online Radio with, playing a wide range of Hard House & Organ Bassline on my shows and soon after that, I began playing around with Music Production using Fruity Loops and Ableton, where I made quite a few tracks ranging from Bounce & Mash Up’s to Dirty Dutch House & Fidget, with several signed to Labels and sold Worldwide via different online music stores. Unfortunately soon after all this I had to put my Musical ambitions on hold, feeling that i’d never truly gotten off the ground properly, due to severe difficult times & personal Family circumstances and more importantly a need to focus on my own Family more which mainly involved my becoming a Full-time Carer for my Wife Siubhan and putting my full attention on raising my two young Girls, leaving me with no time to spare for my love of Music. I spent the next ten or so Years this way, whilst holding onto my dream of returning to my love for Djing, Producing and Dance Music, even trying to entice myself back in by setting up a DJ Page on Facebook and making new Music & Mixes when I had the time spare, although it wasn’t until 2019 that things ultimately took a turn for the better and my patience was finally rewarded and my passion renewed. I have since began focusing once again on my Djing and Producing, revitalizing my Facebook DJ Group and turning my attention to giving it my all, to see how far I can take it and more importantly get back to enjoying life and Music a lot more. Currently I have a Monthly Schedule for my Music, that I plan to maintain and use to showcase myself with, by releasing regular Monthly Mixes through my love of Speed Garage, Organ Bassline, Jackin’ House, Dirty Dutch House, Melbourne Bounce, Bounce, Hard House & Hard Bounce and am also, for the first time, working with other producer’s to make fresh new music, with my first being my upcoming original Hard Bounce release “Hit Em Wi The Rolla” in collaboration with Joe Longbottom, closely followed later this May by getting back into the studio to finish off a special Remix of BassJumper & Jon BW - I Believe [Jump Trax]

As far back as i can remember about 23 years ago when i was 13/14 i started listening to the oldskool/Happyhardcore tunage , as a few years went by , i started havin the love for the HappyHardcore vibe and since then i wanted to get myself my 1st set of decks , but... never kind of happened . From all the tunes that was made and played , some of them top DJ'S inspired me such as DJ SY , DOUGAL , RAMOS , SLIPMAT , RATTPACK , FORCE AND STYLES , VIBES AND LIVELEE and so on and so on , to many super stars to mention . as the years went by , i got older obviously but kinda leavin the scene coz of work , kids etc . Eventually i started gettin back into the scene as i couldnt leave the sounds of the hardcore , It felt like it was apart of my life , but now it is , PROPER !!!! over the years again , i was gettin older and started to think more about getting my 1st set of decks . So as from April 2009 , i got my 1st set of Gemini DD's and borrowed a few vinyl from a mate of mine (Tony Merlin) and started havin a mess about , Didnt think anymore of it , just wanted the fun and the buzz of wanting to be a dj wanna be lol . after 6months of my 1st ever purchase of my decks , i recorded my 1st mix in october 09 . and that gave me over 80 downloads in 2 weeks lol . i didnt think it was bad myself for a virgin in the mixin scene . In febuary 2010 , i dropped on my 1st radio show and got a slot onhttp://www.the-underground.co.uk/ , then i got a slot on Narcoticradio , then Diehard radio , A sunday player on kraftyradio , slot onwww.Dancetransmission.com , http://www.x-treme-energy.co.uk/ .loads to mention but no room ... Over the months of 2010 , i kinda got better in mixin but with loadsa clangs here n there etc lol , i was actually asked by x-treme-energy-events if i could play a set for them at the plug in brum on 25th Sept 2010 , of course i took the chance even though i never thought id be out there mixin the tunage , another bookin from x-treme was in line aswell , then another , all within a few months , and appreciation is goin out to those who has supported me over the years . loads of bookings in since 2010 , with radios and events . respect to you all and many thanks for giving me that chance .I only started mixin for the laugh but its took me further than what i expected , in such a short time .. hope things work out for me lol ;) .. I bought my first set of turntables at the age of 13. It was one of those things that just come naturally. At 16 I started playing every fortnight at a local bar for an under 18’s night playing happy hardcore. Two years later, out of a thousand entrants my mix tape came top five in the ‘Ministry Of Sound DJ Of The Year’. I played a set live in Top Shop at Oxford Street in London on a busy Saturday afternoon.. I continued playing in competitions and talent nights along with a mid-week slot at a local bar. At 20, I was given full weekend residency at local nightclub Steam, playing old-skool, house and trance. The next two years I reached the final of the ‘Young DJ Of The Year’ competition, run by the regional radio station, Signal 1. I came out as overall winner of the competition in 2002. My prize was a pair of Technics 1210’s, mixer, flight cases and the opportunity to play a live set at Café Mambo in Ibiza. The win also landed me a set at the opening night of the Stoke club, Lomax, for the ‘Youth Upfront Awards’. I then tried to further my career by signing onto the internet DJ agency, Topjox and sending out demos to gain recognition. In the early summer of 2004 I decide to try my luck by booking a one way ticket to Ibiza. It was tough at first, but by the end of July I had a residency at the brilliant Plastik Lounge in San Antonio. After a few weeks playing with some of San An’s finest funky house DJ’s I was given the chance to warm up the decks in Es Paradis funky lounge. But best of all, after weeks of trying, Alex Ellenger, who with Judge Jules ran the funky room in Eden, give me the finest two hours of my DJ career by asking me to play. The next year I returned to Ibiza and became resident in the swanky new Hush bar. Ever since then I’ve had this idea of starting my own night locally and ’Filthy!Gorgeous’ is what i come up with. I then travelled to Ibiza again in 2009 playing in the top bars such as Hush (voted best bar in San Antonio ‘07 & ‘08) the brand new Upmarket lounge, Savannah’s sunset bar (back room) and enjoyed a set on the crazy ‘Pukka Up’ sunset party boat. Now I’m tech-house/hard house resident for local club night ‘Euphonic Fuzion’.

1210's were the start, CDJ's took over, now a controller! The Pioneer DDJ-RB is an awesome piece of kit, say no more. So I recently found a folder of mixes from many a moon ago that I'll be uploading. Expect some atrocious mixing but banging tunes!

Numark TT 1910 Direct drive turntables (Shit i know but i've had em for over 10 years and they still work better than most new numark turntables on the market at the mo) Numark DM 1100SE Performance series mixer (Another antique lol but i learnt to mix on this and wouldn't give it up for the world). Virtual DJ Pro Infinity 8, and have just added a Numark Mixtrack Platinum to my collection, awesome controller. Have also just got a pair of Numark NDX 400's, great cd decks.
