Since the late 90's a collector of electronic music mainly in the house style. Since the beginning of 2000's play as a DJ from time to time. Khoza here! Born and bred in the Province of Legends, Eastern Cape. From birth to early childhood I lived in Flagstaff then later we moved to Mthatha. Currently based in the nations capital, Pretoria. My first love of music was Reggae largely due to influence from my Uncles and then I progressed into R&B. I caught the House bug when I came across the album from The Heavy Dee Krew's album entitled Mid-Tempo House Hits 45 BPM. After that came DJ Pippi and Jamie Lewis with their In the Mix album. From then on I was hooked for life. I love all things music. Music has this supernatural ability to heal, whether you are broken hearted or just woke up in foul mood. Once you put those earphones on, switch on you car stereo or go clubbing, you are transported into the realm of happiness. Hope you enjoy my mixes. The thing i love about music is EVERYBODYlistens toit in some form.Whatever warp of life in every corner of of the globe,music can be heard.I ve never met a single person who has told me they don't like music. Mygenre ofmixes are quite broad.Put simply,if i like it,i'll mix it!! Feedback is always welcome.(the good kind is prefered...!!) I've been DJing since the early 80s and have always had a passion for dance music. When Covid killed the events industry in 2020, I've been creating DJ friendly edits of songs I enjoy and songs I play at events just to help me from going crazy. I hope you enjoy them. Metro Beatz is a South Florida based DJ/Producer/Remixer/Engineer of House/Electronic, R&B & Hip Hop Music for Music Of Class Productions and MOCRadio Network. Metro Beatz also known as 'LC' orginally from Lawrence, Ma has a long history & career in music since the mid 80s starting with his first rap group 'The Fresh Express - Stop (Before You Get Started)' which was a local hit in Greensboro, NC then scored an underground rap hit in 1990 with his group 'Mind Over Matter - Invisible Enemy' Soon after, Metro Beatz would move to Atlanta in 1990 working with several upcoming R&B & Hip artist, working at records stores, spinning at clubs in Atlanta and spinning mixtapes eventually collaborating with Chris Brann from Wamdue Kids, he caught the bug for House music, relocated to South Florida spinning on Miami's number one station Hot 105, spinning celebrity parties and released his first solo House music project on Terrence Parker's 'Parker MusicWorks Label' in 2008.
