Dj Zig - Started Dj'ing in 1995 on a set of KAM BDX Belts and a blue dog mixer. since this time in the 90's i played at a few events around scunthorpe which were co-promoted by myself and another friend. The first and subsequent events were called massacre and drew in crowds of about 50-100 people. After about 2000 the scene started to decline and following getting my illness of Non Hodgkins Lymphoma i gave the decks up for about a a few years. Getting back into them in 2003 i started playing more commercial music. however my love of hardcore was still there. in 2008 i secured a residency at a local club in scunthorpe called bar matrix playing a mixture of commercial house, old skool house and ibiza trance. the place used to be rammed to the rafters every week and continued to play at this club for a total of 2 years. i loved playing out here and when the club was eventually taken over by new owners they wanted to take the place in a different direction so i was let go. my love for old skool hardcore is still there but given the opportunity i would play commercial house out anywhere.
