Hi, I'm Dave, from Coventry, and i started djing way back in 1990, while still at school, inspired by legends Sasha and Carl Cox after listening to sets, given to me from older friends! I spent a lot of my time during the early 90's at the legendary club Eclipse, in Coventry, where i met lots of fantastic people including some of the finest DJ's around at the time, doing a couple of sets in Marco Polo, Birmingham. I also ventured across the midlands, clubbing wise, to places including Shelley's, Institute and Coast 2 Coast. After 5 years, i fell out of love with the scene, seeing as it was changing and not to my liking, to be honest and in 1995 i gave up raving and djing. Kept my vinyl, though, just in case!! Got back into it in 2006 after listening to online radio playing a lot of oldskool, and thought I'd give it another go. Not had the confidence to play out again, since but you never know..... He began his steps into the world of electronic music in late 1999. But quickly discovered that this was his great passion. With his close childhood friend DJ SLUT grew in electronic music by experimenting with several different musical styles. In 2001 he had to leave his hobby of being a DJ and go to work, but he never let his passion for music. Nine years later is forced to become disabled from working as a bartender job for health reasons. It then takes up his hobby as a DJ and start again his passion for electronic music. It is currently reprising his career but doing it differently. Thanks to web pages as SOUNDCLOUD.COM and HOUSE-MIXES.COM he was able take his music to places far from his native Puerto Rico. Hey Im DJ Polar reppin' the 242 you know. . I am currently in college and looking forward to a DJ'ing career. I started Dj'ing by just listening to local radio stations and I was amazed by how the music was blended and mixed. So I said why not give this thing a try, and after a few months, next thing I know I am getting called up to do parties in the Bahamas. My favorite local DJ's are DJ Fines (Two time Heineken Green Synergy Champion), DJ Payne, DJ iGnite. My favorite music to mix is Dancehall. My goal is to be a successful DJ going down the stretch of my life. I mix all types of music, House/rap/Hip-Hop/Reggae/Dancehall. You name It I would try it. DJ Weavy A survivor of the old Acid days of Edinburgh 87/88, Weavy’s DJing career began back in 1989. While living in Edinburgh, Scotland it was a chance meeting with an old friend, who at the time was working as a DJ at The Blue Oyster nightclub. No DJ school graduate here, self taught from the beginning by putting tunes on at the beginning of the night. It wasn’t till a new club opened up called Millionaires that Weavy became a resident DJ holding this residency for over 3 years! During this time at Millionaires Weavy played guest spots in and around Edinburgh, doing 2 warm up sets at REZ Back in 92. Before he moved onto Perth Western Australia, where he has settled and lives now. It was in Perth that Weavy met up with the Ragga Bone crew becoming part off their production & promotions team for the Eclipse raves, he also DJ’d for them & worked in their record shop. He was in Perth from 92/95 and played around many of the clubs before shooting off back to the UK. Back in Blackpool (UK) he met up with some DJs and started playing around town in the summer season working days & nights. The team of DJ's decided that there wasn't enough dance music on the radio so Weavy, with mates Johnny Fresh and Marc C started up FRESH FM. A Pirate Station that ran for 4 months before being shut down by the authorities. They then went onto start SPLASH FM a legal Station, which runs for a month twice a year. They still continue do the pirate thing, currently known as Planet FM, minus DJ Weavy, was now back in OZ. This brings us to where Weavy is now, living in Perth, Western Australia. When he first arrived back he got work at Redheads nightclub as a resident DJ. He has since moved onto working for XS Productions playing at most of their party's such as Euphoria, System6 & Intensity. He has played to too many major events to mention including warm up for Lisa Lashes on two occasions, Dave Lea, Andy Farley, Ed Real and the highlight of his Australian DJing career for Enchanted 2002 in Adelaide, Australia’s largest outdoor rave with over 8500 punters, alongside Paul Glazby, Kevin Energy, Sharkey, Scott Brown to name but a few. His passion for radio has continued on, being involved in BPM, a local dance show that airs Thursday nights on RTR FM (92.1) Weavy works for the DJ Factory in Perth, keeping his finger on the pulse of what’s new and often pre-released from record labels and artists around the world. His creative talents have extended into producing tunes and has already got 1 release under his belt on Pump Record's UK and is currently working on releasing some other material for the label in the not too distant future. I STARTED MIXING IN 1995 ON A SET OF KAM DIRECT DRIVE DECKS MY FRIEND PICKED UP. I THEN STARTED TO GATHER A VINYL COLLECTION IN 1996 WHEN I PICKED UP MY FIRST 2 RECORDS IN BLACKMARKET RECORDS SOHO: DIRTY CHOPPER, SHY FX AND RAY KEITH MIXES ON DREAD AND CANDLES BY ALEX REECE. AND SO MY LOVE FOR MIXING AND MASHING IT UP BEGAN. IN 1997 I BOUGHT MY FIRST PAIR OF TURNTABLES, TECHNICS 1210 MK2s, (The same set i use to this day). AFTER OVER TEN YEARS OF PLAYING IN AND AROUND THE SOUTH WEST I MET AN MC BY THE NAME OF TRICKY IN 2008 WHO I INVITED TO BE MY MC AT ONKET TEKNO IN PLYMOUTH NYE 2008>2009 WHERE WE RINSED IT OLD SKOOL AND EXPERIENCED AN AWESOME VIBE. I HAVE ALSO PLAYED BACK 2 BACK WITH A HOST OF DJ PARTNERS. AS THE SMB CREW WITH DJ POLO, THE FOUNDER OF PUKKA VINYL. AS THE DOPE JEDIS WITH DJ SINISTER AND AS AK-47 WITH DJ KRISP. I WAS RESIDENT AT KILLA BEATS IN PLYMOUTH DURING THE LATE 90s AND MORE RECENTLY FOR DIMENSIONAL SCHIZM, A BREAKCORE and ELECTRONICA NIGHT THAT WAS AND IS ALL ABOUT GOOD TIMES. I LOVE RINSING THE WHEELS OF STEEL ON STAGE OR AT HOME, ALONE OR WITH MY PARTNER MISS MAYHEM. MY FAMILY IS A MASSIVE PART OF MY LIFE NOW THOUGH I STILL LOVE TO GET A MIX ON AT HOME, IN A FIELD OR IN A CLUB, PREFERABLY ON A PHAT RIG WITH AN ENGINEER THAT WORKS WITH ME TO PRODUCE THE BEST SOUND. It all started back in 1990 with The Happy Mondays & Stone Roses. Rave was still underground & Illegal The sound was fresh. It all started when I listened to a mixtape a mate was listenin to he said have a listen to this. I soon started to search for pirate stations around my local area, MIX FM, FRESH FM (Leicester) & KOOL FM (Birmingham). Has I got more into the music I thought I would have a go at DJin so brought myself a pair of soundlab belt drives & a numark mixer & buy my vinyl from 5HQ. In 2009 I thought I would have a go at producin my own tracks. UNDER CONTRUCTION

Hi, Im Rob.. I've been into the House and Rave scene since 1991 - 1992 after catching a few tracks that made it into the charts namingly Mobys Go, Congress 40 Miles and SL2s Djs Take Control. Collecting Mix Tapes and Flyers followed and come 1994 I started going out Raving to the legendary Club Kinetic in Longton, Stoke On Trent. That pretty much started my love affair with Vinyl and Dance music and over 20 years on, I still have a soft spot for it all.
