I've been paitiently waiting years for Marijuana to be legalized and regulated like alchohol as it should. It pains me to see other states legalize it properly while New Jersey has not done anything.  I found out  recently this is because our Govenor Chris Christie gets bribe money from the private prison and drug rehab industry.  As you know these industries make a great deal of money from drug prohobition laws.  On the up side, Christie's term is over next year however there is another issue.

The Trump administration wants to continue the drug war with Jeff Sessions leading the charge.  They aim to go after states that have already legalized the herb.  This is something only a bad (sick) guy would do.  Sad.  Fortunately SNL hero and Senator, Al Franken found out Jeff had a lot to do with the Russian involvment with the elections so hopefully Jeff's days are numbered.  Thank God for Al Franken!  To paraphrase his SNL character, He's good enough, smart enough, and dog gone it, people like him.  I know I certainly do.  I may actually read the Al Franken book I was gifted so many years ago now!

Ohh and here is a nice late 1990-1991 rave mix.  It's just a quick one so I can listen to some cool records I just picked up.  I plan to do a much nicer one this summer with more chunky amen breaks.  I'm happy to finally have Cover Girls "Funk Boutique" and 49er's "Don't you love me".  Both were tracks that top 40 radio played the heck out of.  At the time I didn't "get" the point of these tracks but looking back I'm amazed at how great they are.  They're clearly designed to be played at raves.

You are absolutely correct. I even spend hours de-popping the mixes with volume envelopes in my editor.
