It's 20 years since French DJ and producer extraordinaire, Mr. Laurent Garnier, first graced Melbourne's decks at Hardware #5 - the first techno rave to be held at Shed 14 in the Docklands.
For many of us it was a revelation - a guy who could weave together music from all genres into one continuous set of techno-powered excellence, and who had as much fun doing it for us as we had dancing to it.
Garnier played for 5 hours that night, so it'll be impossible to fit all the tracks in the one show...
