It's 25 years this month since Soul II Soul released their debut album, 'Club Classics Volume 1' so the first segment of today's show is dedicated to the original funki dredds and their positive vibe.
Then it's on to an Oliver Lieb, for no other reason than it was his birthday this week.
I've never really played much of his stuff on the show and today I still try to stay away from his more full on tunes - no 'Ambush 2' here. Mostly it's tracks from his big period of success in the early 90s, but I do also play 'Everlast' because I've always been a sucker for an obvious sample cleverly used.
