The James Bond film series from Eon Productions features numerous musical compositions since its inception in 1962, many of which are now considered classic pieces of British film music. This a list of Bond songs that I enjoy, Shirley Bassey's Diamonds Are Forever, is my favorite. Also, A history lesson is enbedded in this mix. During the filming of the James Bond movie NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN, Stephen Forsyth co-wrote the title song for the movie with Jim Ryan. Warner Bros informed their attorney that the song was to be used as the title song in the picture. However, shortly before its release, Warner Bros informed them that the song could not be used because Michel Legrand, who wrote the score, threatened to sue them, claiming that contractually he had the right to the title song. So their song was never released. As I See It, I feel this version is better. You be the judge. Don't judge to harshly, the movie's singer did a great job as well.
