I hope y'all enjoyed my first instalment from yesterday...this is part two of my Big Mix series.
Again this set features some gems from years gone by; It is a combination of older & newer music mostly from mid 90's to mid 2000's but there's a few thrown in for good measure that are actually from 2019 & 2020. PLUS it's almost 4 and a half hours of music, plenty enough to host your own house party for one, two, with your family, or friends at home while enjoying a couple of drinks and sharing stories etc. (I.E if your able to socialise in your part of the world, which hopefully you are).
As always, these 'older' tracks were on heavy rotation in many clubs, back when there were no lock-out laws in Sydney (or lock-down in general), venues were open past midnight, cranking big floor hits until 6 in the morning. You'd be "hard pressed" to find venues that throwback to these amazing years nowadays, so I figure what better way to celebrate then by bringing these tracks kicking and screaming into 2020 with this mix-set.
Sadly some of the newer releases in this mix simply won't get the workout they deserve on good club floors, by great DJ's due to all of these lock-downs across the globe (sure as night turns to day, there will be newer releases that supersede these releases etc). However, here's hoping that one day these amazing newer productions will get the much deserved recognition & appreciation from us all when clubs do re-open for all music lovers, but until that day comes, stay safe, keep smiling, always love, always laugh and cherish your precious time with great music and friends :)
