;
Born in England in 1977 Control1 realised he had a passion for music at an early age, picking up on dance music in the early 90s when he heard mix tapes and white labels destined for the balearic Island of Ibiza. He started releasing bootleg remixes via the internet, of classic dance tracks gaining huge respect from users of the original Napster. Remixing tracks from the likes of Warp Brothers, Dido, Spiller, Eminem and joining what was then a small group of Mash-Up artists with the bootleg circulation of "Big Bass Groovejet. Landing a slot with New York based Radio Broadcast Company Hotwire Radio Control1's portfolio soon boasted 2 weekly slots. There he played a diverse mix of underground house to the more mainstream club anthems and commercial trance. Each show playing out to every reach of the globe via the addition of an online broadcast, giving each and everyone the opportunity to listen to the latest and greatest dance tracks from around the world. Acknowledged by various artists and remixers alike, Control1 is able to bring to his sets pre-released promos, showcasing music that's just breaking on the club scene, bringing a fresh new sound to every set. Also creating dance sets for what is becoming an arsenal of international radio stations for use in their own productions, and working on various remixes Control1 finds the time to enjoy many other personal passions including Web Design and Graphic Design, with music being second to none. Entertaining an audience with something I enjoy really brings it home. Crowd reaction is all down to me. Once you fully understand the biochemical mechanics of how people react to music, you can get it right. System F/Ferry Corsten Paul Van Dyk Tiesto Fedde Le Grand David Guetta Freemasons
