Today’s WoW Mix is a Mix that I RECENTLY performed. This past weekend (December 1st),
I participated in a Fashion Show entitled “Swirls & Chords” with some of
the proceeds going to bring awareness and provide support for those individuals
who live and deal with Diabetes. This
event was and continues to be an event that is a charitable effort designed to benefit the
American Diabetes Association of Washington, DC, and I had the
pleasure/honor/privilege to not only DJ the Fashion Show but to perform for the
After-Party as well. This mix is the
product of that WORK. Just like how
diabetes affects so many people from all walks of life, this set is a culmination
of all different genres of music to satisfy the Soul. I start the mix off with some House (classic
and current music), then move into some Hip-Hop/R&B (classic and current
music). Since we are in Washington, DC,
I had to throw in a few Go-Go tracks while moving the crowd into some Reggae
tones and then closed out the night with some Popular Music. The fashion show,
performances, and speakers were ALL amazing and the crowd/participants were
AMAZING too! I hope you check out this
