progressive and deep mixed together? let's see... well, you're transitions are really really good, although I believe you could do better. example: 28:01+ But I don't like the way you mix progressive with deep house. It's no accident, that one of the basic rule of mixing is not to mix dif genres. One of my mixes starts with a deep house track speeded up to 130bpm, but it's progressive from then on, and the track itself has a very progressive feeling, although tbh i'm not sure i could say it works. In your case, you mix progressive-progressive-deep-progressive-deep-deep-progressive... it feels really schizophrenic,in my opinion. I enjoyed the selection of tracks, they have such a positive and sunny feeling in them. Cheers!

Thanks for the feedback. Since i am not so familiar with these genres: progressive and deep house, and don't really know how to define each one, i basically select tracks I like and mix them together. This mix I made for a friend who asked me to put her favorite tracks on a cd for her, so thats how it came about. I don't agree that you shouldn't mix different genres together. I think when you do, as long as the bpms of the tracks are roughly the same it keeps the mix more interesting. One thing I hate about house music is it can get really repetitive. Maybe you can help by telling me what you think makes a track progressive and what makes it deep? Thnx again for listening!

ps: you are right, I could have done it better, but only recorded it once and didn't have time to do it again. Might give it another go...
