I'm a San Francisco Native that grew up in the Mission District. Growing up in the city opens your ears to alot of different music, I Grew Up With Nothin But Music Around Me. As a kid, my older aunts & uncles introduced me to the oldies and throughout the 70's I Listened to alot of Latin Soul, Disco & Classic Rock. I Then Experienced the beginning of Hip Hop. I began experimenting with the idea of mixing when I was about 14 years old with an old one piece stereo and radio, before I knew it I had converted our basement into a music studio and I found myself waking up next to my Technic turntables almost everyday. Considering the fact that during the beginning of rap & hip hop , the East Coast was More dominant when it came to the music, I would combine a mixture of East/ West with a latin Flavor to it. within time I got recognized and was offered a record deal, the deal fell thru due to the fact of my garage being burglarized in 89 and I never went back to mixing. It is now 21 years later and The technology has changed quite a bit, but the love for music has never left....So here I am once again puttin it in the mix!....Although i do listen and love all kinds of music, there is no other music can describe the soundtrack to your life like 60z Soul & Music From The Blaxploitation Era...That Sound,Those Stories, Those Words,That Music Had A Huge Impact & Inspiration In My Life!
