Bio
Daniel Villouta (born September 15, 1988), better known by his stage name Elio Stereo, is a Venezuelan DJ, Audio Engineer, Remixer, and Promoter. Elio Stereo quickly gained popularity after the creation of Viva Le Rave, a well-anticipated party in the city of Atlanta, GA. Stereo began playing in 2004 around the areas of South Florida, where he grew up as a teen. The drastic change of localities developed an enormous appreciation for acoustics, and after years of experimenting, he has chosen to focus in the electronic music scene, more specifically Minimal, Tech House. In 2010, he released two of his first set of productions. Behind O'Zibaldone introduced him to the international markets of Italy and Panama peaking to #23 on the Tech House Ranks of the famous InternetDJ.com followed by his remix to Alors on Danse. An original track of Stromae, later taken apart, re-arranged and upgrated with the incredible vocals of M.I.A. & Kanye West. Although the samples were never cleared, Elio Stereo decided to release it under S.T.R.0. name which he uses to distribute remixes that don't necessarily pertain to his style of music but need his touch to make it to the dance floors. The tune was quickly distributed throughout North & South America, gaining the fanatism of thousands of downloaders. The following year gave birth to his first mixtape "Ear Drop" released in Miami, FL on January 1st, giving him an enormous push as live performer and opportunity to open up for artist like A-Trak & Sharam. Today you may find him at SAE Institute of Technology Atlanta polishing his engineering skills, playing live shows, or locked in his studio producing tracks and putting together his 2nd mixtape "THKN'TEK".
