Once again I tried to find a place where to be djing Hardcore this year in France for "La Fête de la Musique", the national day where anyone should get an opportunity to introduce the people to his own music on 21st of june.
I applied a form at 2 quite big cities next to where I live, and guess what ? I've been said that I could not be chosen to be on stage "because of my style of music"...
French people and the french government claim everywhere that this day is a day of mind opening to new prospects and ideal for people with less exposure to get their music known by the crowd...
Well I guess that's the french vision of being open-minded : Accept everything the people already know and like, and refuse anything that might not suit the audience's tastes ! I guess I should have said I'd play pop music, or hip hop, or dance and I'd have then an opportunity to play my set on stage.
Anyways, f*ck "La Fête de la Musique" and enjoy my little set I had prepared for this day in case I'd be accepted.

Well express yourself as you want. The hardcore genre is what I prefer and as you know I play hardcore especially, I also had to adapt to other genres that I really appreciate such as dark techno with very powerful distorted sounds. Keep it up you have my support.
