2 Pioneer CDJ-1000 MKII's and a Pioneer DJM-800. Bunch of dirty uplifting beats!
Uncle Sam said join the Army and see the world...and I have! Spent most of the last decade overseas. Did my duty, got out and this bum had to return to being a civilian. I actually just got back to the States from England working as a DoD contractor. Been living over in England/Germany for the last 8 yrs. Went there with a little taste in dance music having picked it up in the South East US. Went past liking the music and started DJing. I've always said that DJ's were the EDM fans who couldn’t dance but still want to hit the clubs to hear those bad ass beats…myself included. Seen DJing go through its evolution as I've been a part of it from Vinyl to CD's & now Laptops/MIDI Controllers. The scene can only get better with performances, equipment and music! Now I'm back in the states (Tampa, FL) and have found that the scene is not as I left it. If you were in it about 10 yrs ago then you can see have drugs have ravaged the culture in America. Europe is way ahead of us cousins across the pond! Luckily I am seeing that dance music here in Tampa is going through what I like to call a "Dance Music Renaissance". Lets keep it about the music and drop a few beats and bass lines instead of the drugs we so often run into at our clubs!
Bad Boy Bill, DJ Dan, Swedish House Mafia (Axwell, Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso) Deadmau5, BSOD, Wolfgang Gartner, Olav Basoski, Hatiras and Macca with the Blow Media Crew, Dirty South, Armand Van Helden, Eric Prydz, Stonebridge, Switch, Mixin' Mark, The Young Rebels, Robbie Riveria, Antoine Clamaran, Chris Kaeser, TV Rock, Phonat, Sharooz, The Young Punx, Deep Dish, Steve Smooth & JJ Flores, DJ DLG, Richard Dinsdale...I could go on!
