Well this mix is my 2nd year laying one of these down, I want to thank everyone that downloaded and commented on last years installment,and to those that voted to make my mix the official winner last year, I love the underground, and love the dark sounding side of techno, or electronica for that matter, most that tune into my mixes know this, so these Halloween mixes come with delight to mix for everyone out there, I love all the artist on here that put the time into these mixes as for Halloween its a fun time of year, and a great time to lay out the dark nasties, well to the mix......This mix is just str8 up darkness, fully developed intro into an absolute difficult mix full of the Randall type mixing, loops samples, overlapped chaos, and channels flying up and down to create the scapes that fall into the driving basslines, and then ending with just the outro of trick or treat sickness so to speak, as all mixes i create, its to allow your ears and imagination to unfold into a musical journey, this journey is dedicated to halloween and to those that love the darkness,

Intro - JR only you could come up with a pull like that :-). 5:57 mark - IMAGERY - Crucified into the ground as you hear Iowa's finest strip-till coming at you in 30 minutes. 15:04 - The bass kick gives that propellers coming to decapitate vibe. 18:10 through 22:33 - It amazes me that even as dark as you can pull...this is industrial underground clubbin' sh*t!!! 28:14 - FEROCIOUS crescendo! 33:29 - INHUMAN! The For those of you that think u have heard it all, believe me when I say you havent heard shit till u heard a Randall set. This man is more musically motiv8ed than anyone I know. Give him a reason to get extra motiv8ed and this is what happens. The only competition here is with last years winning mix he made and even that dont stand a chance. Usual when people get too technical w their mixes the music suffers but not w this guy. How he pulls off this madness in real time is beyond me. This set is exactly what every club or rave on earth should be playing tonight. Driving rythym and insane soundscapes throughout. Once again im beyond blown away. Jason Randall is the master. And the King of Halloween!! The truth is there is not a Dj on earth that can stand in the same room as him! including myself. Sick shit J. Playing this one at social tonight. Love to the fam!!s
Sorry but I have to say that its funny when djs ask for a tracklist. What are you going to do with it? Go out and buy 10 cdjs and build a robot to mix it for you Randall style? Even then...no chance;) I played this with my 3 year old in the room and after 1 minute she ran out of the room yelling Mommy! 10 minutes later I wanted to do the same. Lol If your Halloween doesnt scare children then its just another set. I listened to a few other sets in the competition and really they are not bad but if Halloween itself had to pick a soundtrack we all know what it would be. Thanks again Jason for reminding me that there is nothing more I love in this world then manipulating sound and there is never anything too imortant in life to keep me away from it. You are the standard by which every Djis measured in my books. I know people read this and think im ur fri3nd and think im exaggerating but anyone who knows what it takes to do what u are doing live is bowing to themaster. If I wasnt taking a month using Ableton and Reason to make my sets I would just give up after hearing this. It takes a special combination of love, lunacy, dedication, motiv8ion, and most of all talent to pull this off. I happen to know you prob prepared all of an hour to smash this monsterpiece together. bro, somehow, someway you tapped in your past dark methods and put up some hints of former glories with this mix. I dunno why or how, but I felt like the drugs and whiskey you chugged right before rehab, this was like the last drops of whatever you were before the J Ras transformation. All in all, this music defines the darnkess of last year's champion to this year's. If this mix doesn't make you a winner, dude invite me over and we'll make a party out of it come New Years!
