I can tell the quality of your work before I even listen by the quality of talent that comments on it. Looking down your list of comments its like the House Mixes All Star Team. The fact that so many hard working musicians are excited to take their time to listen and leave detailed comments says a lot about what you do. Im going to save the obvious compliments for everyone else and come at you at a different angle. At this point we are very familiar with each other and I know how you go about preparing for these sets and its safe to say that you don't really break a sweat in the preparation. Your on such a crazy level with your knowledge of the music and mixing skills that making one of these bad boys comes very easy to you. Once in a while I will tell u I need a track and you will send me 200 that where released yesterday in 5 minutes in every style imaginable and even include 3 or 4 cheesy Pop or country tracks just to see if I notice so u know Im listening to all of them..haha. What you do can only be done because of love. That's what seperates you from the rest of us. You love this techno bitch and that love grows with time and it shows. I happen to know that you are a great Dad to a beautifu, lucky little girl and the perfect partner to a woman who happened to see your worst. You work hard as hell and improving in life at a faster pace than u are as a DJ. How you have time for all that and still have time to research so much music and so many styles that it blows me away. You could easily do the nastiest dubstep or jungle or hardcore set on here if you chose to and have it done in an hour from now. Not everyone knows that about you but ive never met an electronic DJ with such a wide knowledge of music. Anyway, I told you how much I enjoyed this set. It happens to be one of my favorite randall sets of all time but that's not a big deal because it happens once a week. lol.. So that's where I start getting to what I really want to say. I have a challenge for you that's more for me. I used the equipment u r using (decks samplers efx processors etc.) for maybe 17 years and learned to do a lot with them ( not quite close to what you do but I used 4 cdjs 2 samplers and 2 effects boxes and would mostly try and have them all going but was never able to organize the sounds into any kind of a story like you do. Im trying to say that I know the limitations that you face very well. Somehow you have shattered the boundaries of what I thought was possible and (don't get me wrong I am not nit picking) but I still can hear that even though these sets are mind blowing madness they still aren't exactly what you are hearing in your head. If you are able to do what you do with your limitations what the Faaaaack would your sets sound like if you took the chains off and had no limitations. Maybe we don't want to know. hahaha. Now to muy point finally. Im not telling you to start using ableton or other arrangement software because I realized that after a couple months of friendship that its not for you at this point in time. You do this for the madness you go through in an hour that u create this. You live for the adrenaline rush of having to juggle all those tracks and parts and its a drug for you. It must be a rush to finish a set like this covered in sweat and trying to understand yourself what u just did. So instead of switching to another system I want to see what one of your sets would sound like if you planned it out for 2 weeks and mapped it out. I know that you start out with 2 to 5 tracks and a general direction but the amazing part is you make these up on the spot and the reason I say u r the best DJ in the world.. But even if you had the power of flight or anything else amazing if you did it everyday eventually it wouldn't be as exciting. I know that while you are playing there are times in your set when u have reached ur limit as to being able to add anything else and u have to wait or look for a track.. Please don't take this the wrong way. U know Im ur #1 fan. You are on a level all your own and everyone in this section knows it and we are all egomaniac DJs so that speaks volumes. I would like to see what happens if you took 3 or 4 tries and preprogrammed most of the set before you hit us with it . I get goosebumps thinking of what would happen. Even if Jesus himself came back and performed miracles on a daily basis eventually people will not be as amazed. lol. That's our nature. There is not much room left to improve the way you do things now but then again I thought that last year. The fact that I wrote a whole freaking book on this wall should tell you alittle about how much I respect your work and you as a person. Im excited for our future now that we have officially joined forces under the Dehydr8ed name and will focus on making tracks this year and see how far we can take this thing this time around in our lives. Hope I didn't say too much. LOL. Ill be down there in a month or 2 and we will get some solid studio time in and see what we can do when we both in the same room. Its almost scary to think..
