Hi all!
This is the first in a series of funky house mixes I plan to do, showcasing some absolute classic tunes that really shaped the funky house scene. Some of these tunes you will know, and some are personal favourites of mine - but I can guarantee that you will love them all!
The mix starts hot and upfront with Astrotrax 'The Energy' before moving into an all time favourite of mine by DJ Disciple. Ian Carey is one of the best funky house remixers of all time and this is his best remix in my opinion. Alongside classics by Soulmagic, a funkadelic remix of Ce Ce Peniston, and the super Soul Avengerz 'Touch Me,' this mix will make you feel good and will warm you up with a week to go before all that Xmas hygge!
