- This ride brings it back to the roots of house music. Any fan of the early 1990s Hardcore/Jungle d&b/Jump Up era will appreciate this set. The vital elements of each subgenre are showcased in contrasting styles. When you settle into one tone (feeling), it moves you into the next style (melody, beat pattern, vocal hooks). All this drum action without the vocals bits being overstated. (1 hr 35 mins - A PRIME STUDY of the genre!)
