I really needed to hear some more jazzy house beats, so I put this together over a wonderfully sunny day in lockdown. The Quentin Harris remix of "Steppin Stone" by Duffy is cracking tune, and Harris is my (new) favourite remixer. But there's plenty more smooth grooves here to tickle the earlobes. The two slower tracks that kick off the mix are cool and mellow, but then the beats pick up and we're into dance territory, with Deep Swing, Jon Cutler and Milesart Orchestra ... and how about that remix of the classic India track, "To Be In Love"?
In case you missed it, here's volume 1 of "Jazz in the House".
