And they say all Dubstep sounds the same.
(Nobody says that anymore)
A nice 30 min Substep, Micro Color Bass, Future Garage, Chillstep (Lovestep), Liquid Riddim, Deep Dubstep, UK Dubstep, Melodic Riddim (Color Bass), Future Riddim, Riddim, Briddim, Brostep, Melodic Dubstep, Metalstep, Drumstep, 200step, Minatory, Deathstep, Tearout, Trapstep (Hybrid Trap), Neo Dubstep, Vomitstep and Violin Dubstep mix for yall
I omitted a few that could be considered Dubstep subgenres such as:
Dub - I honestly feel like that's a genre in its own right. I also didn't include any of the Garage/2-step genres outside of Future Garage, but what's considered Dubstep in that realm is incredibly subjective.
Kitchenstep - Despite it having "step" in the name, it's really actually a Trap subgenre, even more so than vomitstep. Just crosses the line for me.
Distorstep - I could have included this due to its roots in both Dubstep and Harsh Noise. But I didn't for 2 reasons. 1, my limiter didn't like that genre. 2, in the many years I've listened to Dubstep, I have heard 1 artist make or even reference it. That is not enough. A genre really ought to catch on a bit don't you think?
