Tink Thomas A.K.A SoulTechz,is a Veteran DJ/PRODUCER from Detroit Michigan, USA. A self taught DJ since 1981,TINK was orginally a Hip-Hop Battle DJ, beforeProgressive,House &Techno took over Detroit's dance scene.After learning the Art of TURNTABLE-ISM and participating in numerous DJ battles, TINK decided to learn how to make the records instead of playing them. In 1989 he produced his first EP with a local Rap group and went on to produce for tons of local area Rap artist. In 1995 TINK was ask to add his Hip-Hop style to the production of themale R&B Group U.N.V.of POP IconMadonna's (Maverick Records), and was given the opportunity to produce some songs for their last album along with their solo act, Hip-Hop group (J&The Phatman). Shortly after that, House music was calling him back, and in 1996 he relesaed an EP and a few Remixeswith Soul City Records, owned by Mad Mike Banks(UR). After a 14yr hiatus from Djing,Tinkhas returned to the House scene with new production, remixes and appearences!
