I was 10 years old, as an acquaintance of mine put a tape in his boombox. It was labelled with 'Italo Disco'. He pressed the play button and some seconds later I got hooked on this style of music. It has such an easy-going lightness, has simple melodies thus easy to remember and is danceable too.
In memory of that important 80s music style I carefully selected twelve Italo Disco songs produced between 1983 and 1987, which I mixed founded on the principles of beat and harmonic mixing (http://www.harmonic-mixing.com).
The cover art is heavily inspired by ZYX cover designs (https://www.discogs.com/de/Various-The-Best-Of-Italo-Disco-Vol-7/release/153780) using the original fonts Candice and Dubbeldik.
