Twenty years together and yet forced to choose only 100 minutes of music. 100 minutes because we decided to have our personal double vinyl album pressed at Dr. Dub and you can press a maximum of 25 minutes per side of an LP.
How would you overcome this challenge? Our attempt was: first, we both independently searched our huge music collection for 5-star-rated tracks that she or he has a deep connection with. For the tracks we both chose, a second and third filtering was necessary to fit them on the two sides of the first vinyl. The result is “We Two – Our Selection”, which you are listening to now. The “We Two” of the title stands for “We two are together”.
For the tracks that only she or he selected, further filtering led to the other two vinyl sides, which you can find under “We Two – Her Selection” and “We Two – His Selection“. The “We Two” here stands for “We are two individuals”.
