I absolutely love Coldplay's first three albums, but have pretty much disregarded them since. I find since X&Y, they are simply trying to be more famous than earnest. Blah, blah, blah. Anyway, this 16-song megamix showcases the Coldplay I like. The whole "Coldplay vs. T80sRMX" is just yours truly trying to be clever with a title.
The mix is only 48 minutes, has a ton of effects during transitions (at times to hide beats per minute changes). A mix like this I start out trying to make it a DJ mix, then add effects because I just think they add to the overall effort. I do not, for a second, pretend to be a professional DJ. I hope you like it.
