Been working in the music biz since 1979 DJ mostly and then record promotions. 1982 was the peak of the"New Sounds" comming from San Francisco based Mobydick and Megatone records . As the mainstream artists begain topping the dance music charts Moby Dick and Megatone took the top 5 spots and held them every week .But unfortunatly it crashed and by 1983 so many close friends didn't survive the aids epidemic. After that it was never the same..So close to 30 yrs later I’m going from vinyl to pc and re creating some of the music styles from back in the day!
