Before even realizing he wanted to become a DJ he was making mix tapes on his old 2 deck tape player recording small sections of different songs and making mixes. With experience and achievements spanning the industry for over 10 years Jonny has gained much respect from fellow djs, clubbers and artists alike. With other big named artists such as 'Roger Sanchez' and worldwide fm radio stations playing his work. Jonny's catologue is rapidly growing, with releases featured on beatport, trackitdownd, djdownload,Spotify, Itunes etc. Jonny is signed worldwide to over 7 different independent record labels, and djs regurly on the radio and out in the club. Jonny began his musical journey when a friend taught him the ways of the 1210's. This was the creative spark that was needed to ignite the musical creativity. With a few records and eventually getting his own decks Jonny was on his way to success. Originally playing harder edged music such as NRG and Techno. Now Jonny has reached the age of the digital DJ and can utilize most equipment to great effect. He is very creative with effects and loops and plays a versatile range of electronic music. The BPM's may have slowed down but the energy still remains in his music and presents behind the decks. Specializing in house and techno including warehouse, deep, underground and other styles. Jonny respects all music genres. Anything can happen in a Jonnyscratch set or track. At home in the studio Jonny runs Technics 1210s, Pioneer Cdjs and Pioneer Djm 800 mixer along with various professional effectors and Traktor Scratch pro-2 for Mac. This means that no matter what equipment you have in the club Jonny will be able to rock your crowd with flawless mixes, live re-edits, loops, tricks, and effects. This makes watching Jonny dj more entertaining and great value for money. To mention just a few achievements acquired, Jonny Has Won many dj competitions such as the dilate dj competition. ukdjs competition YouTube 10 min mix dj competition and many local small venue competitions too. Also Jonny was head honcho for the very successfull Jilted parties held in the west middlands, and is still currently a major part of the Subb-beat Records label and events brand. Also Jonny was a feature on the massive Winkelwagen Show in Amsterdam.
