McBain was first introduced to the scene in 1993. Using two CD players and two amps he quickly learned how to mix and blend sounds.From there, he would progress to CDJ's in a time when CDJ's were a faux pas. Years later, a friend would suggest he switch to vinyl and start spinning Drum & Bass. A decade after that, McBain graduated from bedroom DJ and began pursuing bigger things, with a little nudge from his friends. His Drum & Bass styles range from Jazzy-atmospheric beats to liquefied groove, using his honed skills to showcase passionate and energetic sets with a warm, feel good feeling. While he is better known for Drum & Bass, his roots are firmly planted in Trance, and he has been known to throw down with a wide variety of genres: Psy-Trance, Deep House, Funky Breaks, Downtempo and more. McBain can also be found behind a lens as a professional photographer. He has sought after work with Trancecore, Oh Snap, GOMP, Git Nice Productions, and In A Home, coupled with his skills behind the decks and in the studio, have forged McBain into a powerful force - forever stamping his mark onto the scene. Recently he has relocated to Nelson, B.C. to focus on music production and be inspired by the beauty that is the mountains.
