If I'm honest I don't write many reviews simply bc I forget lol. BUT I made an point to return to write remarks for this one. From about the time stamp of 21 mins until like 60 mins into the mix...it's one of the housiest...sets I've heard... Really phenomenal! Yes, the tracks bleed into one another bc the vocal harmonies are slightly similar but that's probably the most ungracious and tedious point bc it's INCREDIBLE! It's like a gospel choir making your hair stand on edge with goospbumps lol. I think I remember you recently stating something self deprecating about your ability to excite house fans with? Well, CLEARLY you don't know what you're talking about hahah...DJs spend/spin [wink] a lifetime trying to accomplish those forty minutes of pure BLISS!
THANK YOU!!!

Opening track.... - Yeah man....settin' the tone. Male vocals, "I got to be there," SYNTH REVERBERANCE with crystalline drops. 6:10 mark - HOUSE BABY HOUSE!!!!!!!! Female vocals, LUSH THC keys \\0/ \\0//!!!!!!! 11:45 - NIFTY. Male vocals, I dig the instrumentation shifts throughout. This has that Prince & The New Power Generation sound. 16:15 - Yep. Stevie Wonder, "For your Love 1995." His vocals intermix with the electric piano and bongo percussion. 22:50 - Sneaky POWER this. Wailing female vocals, urban STRUT bones (Rhodes). Notice the lyrics, "I'm tired," and her illustrations. 28:10 - HA MAN DUDE!!!!!!!!!!! Male vocals, "My love is free," JOY BUZZ, mid-tone house BUTTONS \\0// \\0//!!!!!!!!!!! https://www.yonahpreservetrails.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/love-word-clip-art-797670.png - 34:30 - I like how you spun this back to the same track at 22:50. This DJ statement noted for where our world is now. 39:15 - Gospel Tribal fusion. DRUM CHOPS. 43:10 - MASTERFUL MIXING. HEAVY build to the crescendo DROP at 44:55. Female vocals, "I remember when you used to love me." 47:10 - Electrified house PIANO. 50:55 - JUBILANT female vocals testifying about her man; luv the chord tempo. 54:35 - AH MAN LOL..I'd expect nothing less from you Mr. C.!!!!!!!! Jane Child, "I don't wanna fall in love 1990 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWd__w5UWVc " remake. HA...for those vets that know!!!!!!! 58:45 - Gil Scott-Heron, "The Bottle 1974" hydraulic FUNK added. 63:33 - Again, INFECTIOUS. The original version of Gypsy Woman is TIMELESS enough. Having it respun with male vocals on this version is FULL CIRCLE. 67:40 - Nice bridge ere, light stomp FESTIVE. \\0// \\0//. 70:45 - VIBIN'. Male vocal hook, "I can't stop lovin' you," absorbing DRUMS. 75:05 - Stevie Wonder, "For Once in My Life 1967." Sensei these remakes you're finding are LOADED. 79:05 - CODA....GEEEEEEZ!!!!!!!!! Female vocal hook, "Free," DOPAMINE, JOY BUZZ MELODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- This joint takes your emotions everywhere. The vibez are covered as indicated in the set title, but conceptually mixed. The female tracks have soul and gospel elements with unshakable confidence. The remakes of classic tracks from the 1960s-1990s are produced and arranged with refinished affirmations. The vocal performances repackage how powerful those songs are. If you've studied Mr. C you expect on-point mixing, but the audio effects and craftsmanship here are complexly delivered. The irony of listening to this is emotionally I know we feel all the same way. This piece tells you it feels the way we do now. For those that have Marvin Gaye's, "What's Goin On 1971" album, this set has those "from joyful to despondent" passages. (1 hr 22 mins)
