Opening track.... - MINT VIBEZ. Female vocals, "So hold me tight, treat me right, but don't keep me waiting," luv the stutter cadence percussion. 4:15 mark - HAAAAA!!!!!!!! Female vocals, "Gotta take our time," same beat as Dr. Dre and Snoop Doggy Dogg, "Deep Cover 1992." 8:05 - AH YEAH, A STAPLE track of that era. Female vocals, "I'm crazy for you Mr. DJ," SULTRY bassline. 11:45 - Yep. Male vocals, early 90s New Jack Swing beat structure. 15:00 - FLOWIN'. Female vocals, "This is where I wanna be boy," sharp jingle bell cadence. 18:05 - WOW. Anita Baker this sounds like, but I don't think it is. Smh...I'm stumped, standout female vocals indeed. 23:15 - Nice and easy. Female vocals, "Who's gonna get your love now," oozing soul synth. 25:40 - Very nice. Female vocals, "Just another page in your life, talkin' bout', love stories," classic (r&b) key phrasing of the era (late 80s early 90s). 31:00 - OH MAN, I forgot about this one. Female vocals, "I'll be there for you," CATCHY street beat. Same structure as Maxi Priest, "Close to you 1990." 35:30 - Yeah man, retro business. Female vocals, "You make me feel so real," smooth funk flavaz, this one sneaks up on yaz. 38:15 - Female vocals, "Wrapped around your finger," with that sextuple, electro cowbell riff. 43:00 - Aphrodisiac female vocals, ruff groove. 47:00 - Female vocals, got that TOUCH on the keys. 51:30 - LOL. I forgot all about this one. Female vocals, "Tell me would you go down on me." 54:45 - It's a trip hearing this one again. Back then I didn't realize how many female vocalists were jumping pitches trying to emulate Baker's vocality. 57:45 - Coda....underrated this one. Female vocals, "I know I can do without you," dusk bones (Rhodes) and electro string accompaniment.

- Deffo worth your time. This is appreciated retro business for us late 40-somethings. New Jack Swing, R&B vibez (late 1989-1996) with more sophisticated track selections. These tracks got radio play, but they weren't etched into your memory. Some of these tracks I haven't heard since I was in my 20s. Trust....this won't remind you of bad breakups, it's got those "into someone" grooves. (1 hr - NOSTALGIA GOLD!)
