The Zahir, in Arabic, means visible, present, incapable of going unnoticed. It is someone or something which, once we have come into contact with them or it, gradually occupies our every thought, until we can think of nothing else. This can be considered either a state of holiness or of madness. – Faubourg Saint-Peres Encyclopedia of the Fantastic (1953). This music has become our Zahir. Taking over our every being, hypnotizing our thoughts and enriching our lives. This very mix is a collection of soundscapes, textures and rhythms that have allowed us to connect with our innermost being, our spirit, our soul. We invite you to set aside 80 minutes of your time, to join us on our audio journey of the mind, body and soul. Zahir is dedicated to Patricia Partridge. A woman, whose beauty, strength and smile inspired us to piece this mix together. Without Patricia, this mix would not have been possible. We love you Patricia. Sons of Aurora. http://www.area709.com/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Collage collaborative textures to open every lock finding freedom sitting with you in the beat of your heart. A rhythm of being beyond thought, pulsing with a divine connection to the cosmos. The artwork for Zahir was created in honor of Patricia and her 60th birthday celebration. Very much love and gratitude for your pioneering, Shaun FreeZen
