From as early as grade school Tony was always into music. In the 6th grade Tony was spinning "Saturday Night Fever" LP's while the other kids danced. In high school, Tony was the guy with a huge ghetto blaster perched on his shoulder with the hottest new releases. Tony also spent some time in a band and playing guitar but it was in the early nineties he bought his first turntables and started mixing. Professionally, Tony started his career playing at the infamous Ibiza Hotel. One night, world famous DJ Dimitris Mykonos heard him spinning and approached him about working together. For many years Dimitris and Tony could be seen together playing parties at Ibiza, Pleasurezone. Tony has even performed several events for MTV including a nationally broadcast episode of the reality show Fraternity Life. Tony has had the great pleasure to spin at venues in Vegas and Internationally has had the chance to DJ at some great venues in Indonesia and Singapore including the reknowned Double 6 nightclub in Bali. Now-a-days Tony still enjoys his residency at Pleasurezone. He also has been performing at Dusk Parties around the Bay. With such a wide repertoire of music (Dance, Hip Hop, Top 40, mash-ups and more) Tony Roxxx has found his way into some of the top venues in San Francisco and the South Bay including 1015 Folsom, Ruby Skye and many others. If you are looking for someone with a huge range of music to play and to keep the dance floor packed and full of energy, contact tony@tonyroxxx.com or call 408 230-5300.

Gabriel Rodriguez Nuyoshi
Gabriel Rodriguez Nuyoshi

Gabriel Rodriguez (Nuyoshi Music Chicago) aka Gabriel Rican Rodriguez is considered to be a House legend in the Latino communities across the Chicagoland area. In the late 80's and early 90's, he made quite a name for himself and was headlining at various House Music concerts & events with the likes of: Ralphi Rosario, Mario Smokin Diaz, Mike Hitman Wilson, Bad Boy Bill, Fast Eddie, Tyree Cooper, Rich Martinez, CZR, DJ Sneak, Georgie Porgie and Derrick Carter, to name a few. In 89, his first record label appearance came on "Lost in Bass - Bass Boyz" released by Hot Jams Records (licensed by: DiKI in Belgium, UK & Kool Kat Records in California, USA) where he showcased his trademark scratches. He then hit the airwaves by being a Resident DJ on Chicago Radio WCYC along with several special guest spots on B-96, WCRX, RADIO ARTE & WIIT. His first remix came in 98' on "We Came To Party - 4XSample" on Skribe Records. In 2002, Gabriel along with partners Dave Dirzo, Devastating Dennis and DJ Fila produced a deep sultry house song "Krazy feat Nature Love" on Nuyoshi Records that earned global recognition by charting and getting rave reviews on many publications. I've been a DJ of one sort or another since 1978 when I played a load of reggae 12" discomixes at a school disco, causing much puzzlement! Played at many a house party and also for sound systems in Norwich in the 80s, then got into the Rave scene in early 90s, was resident DJ at Offyerface Norwich for 10 years playing techno and house... moved to Cumbria then after a break, started playing at parties and festivals again, Dubstep under the name League Against Dubstep, then reggae with Jambeater Sound and others... currently however I seem to be on an Afro-House tip, and by Afro House I don't mean the Brazilian latin stuff, although that's good too, but I'm talking about house from Africa, mainly South Africa but with many diverse collaborators thrown in... It's just got that dreamy trancy wide-open-spacey vibe, beautiful soaring harmonies and almost but not quite clashing chords, mad sub bass lines and of course the endless shaker beat and pounding kick drum underpinning everything, hardly a snare drum or a hi-hat to be heard, superb live instruments and majestic vocals, I don't know what they are singing about but I don't care!

I was born 49 years ago and have been close to music since childhood. As a young man, I decided I wanted to become a DJ. **My professional start** came in 1993. That’s when I fully committed to mixing and creating music for discos and club events. My distinctive style and energetic performances quickly won me popularity, and I gradually became a familiar face in the local club circuit. **During my career**, I had the amazing opportunity to travel and perform on various stages. These experiences enriched me immensely, not just musically but also as a person. I learned to feel the crowd’s energy, and my mixing skills became my trademark, propelling me to the top of the local DJ scene. **After years spent in the prime of my career**, I felt in 2008 that it was time for a change. I decided to end my active DJ career and devote myself to other interests and responsibilities. Though I no longer play at major events today, my passion for music and mixing still burns within me. **I’m still part of** our local music community, and I’m proud of what I’ve achieved for DJ culture. I poured immense effort and heart into my musical journey. And my greatest reward is knowing that my music and my work continue to inspire people even today. Because **music is eternal**.
