He began his career in Johannesburg during the height of the rave scene in the 1990s, honing his skills and developing his unique style. In 2004, he immigrated to Portsmouth, UK, where he played at venues across the city and on the south coast. In 2011, he moved to Southeast Asia and has since held residencies at various venues, including Sunset Sunrise, Big Daddy's Diner, Babylon Bar, and Sangdee Gallery. He has also been the sole DJ for high-adrenaline gymkhana drift racing events. Throughout his career, dj-TASK has played in various countries, including South Africa, England, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. He is known for his versatile sets that can range from deep house to deep tech house, progressive house, and techno. With his wealth of experience and technical expertise, dj-TASK is sure to keep the dance floor alive with his dynamic and high-energy performances.

I have been doing this a looooong time (45+ years) and all those years have been club/festivals/raves. Started during the Disco era, loved/embraced and dj'ed the New Wave/New Romantic scene and have been spinning House since House was House. I like to say that I am the best dj you have never heard of. I figure I will do this until it's not fun anymore...like...never happen. Anywhoo, enjoy the tunes and THANKS FOR LISTENING.

Music has been a place of inner peace and I hope you enjoy my sharing of it! Born and Raised in NYC and now in the ATL. I have been mixing since I was 14 years old. As a young fella I can remember watching DJ Starski, Grandmaster Flash, Kool Herc, DJ The Red Alert to name a few hooking their equipment to the lamp poles in the parks in the South Bronx and Harlem it was on. The MCs were hyping or moving the crowd for the Deejays. When I moved from the Bronx to Queens, I joined the Gemini Crew and I was DJ Johnny Quick on the 1 and 2 with the cross fader. My Dad owned a night club in Brooklyn, so music was everywhere. As I got older and started going to the club scene in NYC there was one DJ that was such a technician and I often called him a Scientist the Legendary DJ Larry Levan famous for the Paradise Garage. He told a story when he mixed -- depending on current events, highs and lows in the City. As a DJ we must feel the mode and pulse on the crowd and provide them with a theme...

Rite now I'm doing everything on the computer and Numark mixtrack Pro usb controller but I used to use two techniques 1200 turntables and a numark mixer nothing fancy just basic dj equipment

He has not much in the bio except for the love of music. He is Cape Town born and bred in the disco era. A love of music has made it possible for him to grow into crossing the genre boudary. Although his love remains in the disco and soul genres, he expanded into many sub genres which now includes tech house, latin and afro house and even so much as melodic house and techno at times. Residing in the Netherlands for the past 14 years and fully adapted to a different culture and lifestyle and music genres. If anything can unite people it is MUSIC! As a matter fact anything with a beat is good for him. With your support he certainly will be posting much more music mixes now and in the future. Metro Beatz is a South Florida based DJ/Producer/Remixer/Engineer of House/Electronic, R&B & Hip Hop Music for Music Of Class Productions and MOCRadio Network. Metro Beatz also known as 'LC' orginally from Lawrence, Ma has a long history & career in music since the mid 80s starting with his first rap group 'The Fresh Express - Stop (Before You Get Started)' which was a local hit in Greensboro, NC then scored an underground rap hit in 1990 with his group 'Mind Over Matter - Invisible Enemy' Soon after, Metro Beatz would move to Atlanta in 1990 working with several upcoming R&B & Hip artist, working at records stores, spinning at clubs in Atlanta and spinning mixtapes eventually collaborating with Chris Brann from Wamdue Kids, he caught the bug for House music, relocated to South Florida spinning on Miami's number one station Hot 105, spinning celebrity parties and released his first solo House music project on Terrence Parker's 'Parker MusicWorks Label' in 2008.
