I started spinning tunes as a DJ at the tender age of 16, igniting the party scene for my crew. Back in '87, I joined forces with some amazing friends to launch a mobile DJ setup that was truly epic. We'd roll up to gigs, blow the crowd away, and create memories that still make me smile. Around 2007, I began exploring the world of electronic music production, crafting my own beats and experimenting with sound. This moment ignited my passion for music and motivated me to embark on a career in DJing. I took my first steps in 2007 by downloading a free legal version of Virtual DJ, which allowed me to mix live online and experiment with various genres. Chris Carragher otherwise known as Chris Caggs, Aged 48 is an Australian Radio DJ, Music Programmer & Podcaster in the Australian Radio Industry almost 30 years. He’s broadcasted across 16 radio stations as a permanent on air resident with a further 200 radio stations across the Community Radio Network (ComRad Satellite) In July 1998, Chris Caggs dream became a reality hosting his permanent radio show with co-host Mista-C on Australia’s 1st Hip Hop & RnB Community Radio Station Pump FM 99.3FM Sydney. The station relaunched as dance radio 99.3fm playing Hip Hop & RnB on a Monday & Tuesday Night further relaunching as Dance FM 94.5fm in August 2000. Later in 1998 Chris Caggs joined DJ-FM 87.6FM a 24/7 fulltime Dance Station for Inner City & Sydney CBD run by the Robert’s Media Group. It is with a heavy heart I have decided to retire from "paid" Dj work. I have had over 30 years in the game and have played to 10 people and a club at capacity of over 5000. I started listening to music since he was 8 years old, my first console I got it at 17 I was delighted with the years 80s, then I am passed to the techno-acid. They were good times and all vinyl. In 1994 I started to appreciate techno -hardcore, after which they are passed to the hardcore and still are today. I'm not a professional DJ. I also began to appreciate the genre hardstyle and rawstyle. However I like all kinds. Exit Point's passion for the music began in the early 90s, a fan of the Madchester sound of The Stone Roses & Happy Mondays, from here, his musical tastes shifted to the underground Rave sounds of the mid 90's after being introduced to a mixtape by a friend. This led to Exit becoming an avid listener of the local pirate stations, Mix FM, Fresh FM (Leicester) & Kool FM (Birmingham).This keenness further led Exit to take up DJ'ing, initially with a pair of Soundlab belt drives & a Numark mixer. Exit got into the Jungle sound in 1994 and would buy his vinyl from the legendary 5HQ shop in Leicester.
